I know I'm not a 'regular' here, but really, why does every thread about Noel's tune have to end in people slagging Beady Eye off? Fucking hell Yeah, I'm going to stop commenting for a bit. I can't stand this type of stuff. Just enjoy the music. |

I can see now why people ahead of the press conference were reporting that the album is "all over the place." Haven't rated yet, but I quite like it. I listened to that preview a lot as well.
Dunno that it's the best that we've heard so far like I thought it could be after the preview, though. I'll need time.

So far the songs we've heard are B-sides to me. This album will not even be as good as The Masterplan. Sorry guys. Both Beady Eye and Noel will release B-sides and only B-side quality songs. Though I have to say Beady Eye has some good ones. atleast wait until you've heard the album before jumping to conclusions. |

I expected more after the preview. Seemingly, I'm not alone with that opinion. But still, I think it's a good song. I especially like the "tiger-bit". And I don't understand the problems with Noel's voice somebody here have.
The disappointment is result of the very high expactations everybody had in general and after the unbelievable If I Had A Gun.
8/10 for me.

^ yep, as I said elsewhere they're nearly cringe-worthy, but it still sounds solid overall on a nice full-range system.

If this poll was done for the general populous, than the rating would be higher almost assuredly. 8's and 9's. Oasis fans are too resistant to change. Anything outside of the prescribed catalogue (i.e. Live Forever, DLBIA, etc.) is considered crap. It's sad, but true.
I stand by my 9 rating earlier. Doesn't mean that it is the best thing on the album but still a quality song. Can there only be one 9 on the album? That would be ridiculous.

But please don't automatically assume that because people don't think it's a 9, that means their dogmatic to a certain way of thinking. |

However i am expecting a song like "Everybody is on the Run" to be amazing. Plus, i am counting on songs like AKA being the worst(by far) on the album, and "The Death of You and Me" to be nothing more than a filler. |

Kinda shit to be fair. Melody on the verses are crap and I hate that effect before the second verse but the chorus is good, ish and there's too many 'whohoo's'.... 2 would be okay like. Kinda disappointed it's the second single cos I'm sure there's definitely something more suitable on the album.
