you've obviously been sniffing glue or something. just sayin'..... Pixarito is right, there's just no inspiration behind these songs. These are uninspired tunes from an insanely wealthy uninspired songwriter. Noel's classic songs were all written when he was young and hungry; we aren't going to get an earth changing tune from a middle aged content guy. So slag Liam, Gem and Andy all you want but face the fact that the Chief's best days are well behind him and enjoy His High Flying Birds for what it is. Agreed. He should just become BDI's roadie. What a waste. Someone just hire a monkey to sing and play these songs on tour. No one will notice the difference. |

There hasn't been a truly classic Oasis-related song in 15 years but Noel still writes great songs. i'm sorry, TDOYAM is great, it's not classic but close to it. i encourage LAG to write a great album, i wish they'd take the time to write it.... i've said that numerous times. they show hints of a great album, i hope they write one. aloha! |

I wanted to give it a 7.5, but I was kind and rounded up to the 8. Still prefer it to TDOYAM. And it's going to be very hard for Noel to beat IIHAG, but if he does? Wow.
