I pretty much like the song but I have a serious problem with that woohoo Yeah, I hated the whoohoo's at first. But on the 3rd or 4th listen, they've grown on me some (along with the song itself). Pity that you didn't take the time to listen to the song a couple of times and make sure you were sure about what you were saying before immediately slating it. You in particular seem to do this more than most be it an overly positive or overly negative response.

Listen to the guitar part at 1.10. That should be brought back in the song and developed. No idea why it wasn't. It's a good song, but it's not a 10/10 like IIHAG, for me. Shame, cos it could have been with a few minor tweaks.

Why does it have to have a guitar solo?

2:14 to 2:52 is pure musical sex. This tune has to be played loud.

Zane Lowe played it on Radio 1 earlier. Got a good reaction as well, according to his Twitter. Any chance of it making the Radio 1 playlist this week?

I love what noels done, the 3 album tracks we've heard are all different in a good way. If the tunes all sounded the same it would take away from attracting different fan bases. Cheers noel.

3 tracks out, all 3 brilliant. Was a tad worried about this one being "dance" as he first described it, and yet it's amazing. Even the woohoos have grown on me. I really hope he gets some play on US stations. If I had a Gun obviously is the main US single, but this one is just as catchy.
Damn, I cannot wait any longer for the album. I am a broke medical student yet I may need to score a ticket to go see him on this tour.

I think its mega, very different sounding to his normal style. I would quite like to here the guitar solo more but that might come with a better rip and also it sounds like there should be more woohoos per bar

Spaneli, I hear ya. I worked after undergrad for 3 years making about 30k a year in a basic job but I managed to scrounge enough to see Oasis at the Heaton Park gigs in 09, and then again in spring of 2010 for the Cancer gig. But now my whole living has to be on around 20k a year or less, it's been quite a bit tougher. Really gutted Noel didn't get a Chicago date on there, I was really wanting one there.
If I can't make it to this short US tour, I've got hope that all of Noel's quotes about next year being the big tour mean there'll be more opportunities. Seeing him at the Cancer gig was one of the greatest nights of my life.
edit - this might just be me, but there's something U2 ish about this song to me.

Well its always an exciting moment when you hear a new Noel/Liam tune for the first time.
Do think its pretty good, i think people are falling into the trap of getting too excited as its a brand new tune though. Its a decent tune, not ground breaking or that.
But agreed with the 'woo hoo's'. Very weird, used to love the way Oasis songs used to end (Eg Slide Away and Roll with it) but this ones a bit bizarre.
Loved 'if i had a gun' , this tunes good but its not a huge epic hit or that. I must admit i'm normally more a Liam fan than Noel and his usual ballads but all the songs i've heard from Noel so far are very good so i cant wait for his album (and the leak)
