Looks like I'm right again. I knew there was nowhere else for it to go after the sample we heard on the advert. Really not a fan of that at all.

Doesn't go anywhere at all. It sounds like Noel was trying to write a pop song for popularity imo.

I'm getting worried. For me IIHAG was also a disapointment. Never thought I would say this, but if this continues I actually might like DGSS better!

Great track. This will do well on radio, and should attract some new fans.

Was expecting a bit more in the bridge. The bridge is what kills it for me. I don't know. I don't give about the guitar solo, I just wanted something, anything in that bridge to build to that chorus. And there was really nothing.
A solid song, still don't know what to make of it. I have to hear it a couple of more times before I can have a full opinion.

The guitar solo was that little low-guitar key about 2 minutes in. Sounds more like an electric kettle of some sort..... It's alright, nothing special yet. Roll on Beady Eye oct 18th!!!!11!@

I'm guessing the album version will be on the one put online for me... They all have different qualities to what makes them great... I like them all on a par, myself... Except TGR... I hate that

So Far: Beady Eye > Noel Gallagher's HFB. TDOYAM and AWAL are terrible. I like IIHAG though

Disappointed with that, goes to show how idiotic that thread that said "WAL is Noel's best song since when?"
Random 20 second gap that should have a guitar solo, doesn't go anywhere and the wooohooo bits sound poor.

I don't know what to make of those "Woohoos" toward the end. Right now I'm not feeling them.

Maybe better than the good rebel, but way behind Death of you and me and If i had a gun. Expectations gettin lower Something is starting to bother me: the three songs we know from the album are too simple structure wise. Just verse-chorus-verse-chorus etc. The other two worked quite well, but this one not: he needs bridges, he needs more complex songs, or the album will end up being too simplistic

Not mad for it. I don't mind the style of music and I'm glad he's trying something new, but this could easily be a B-side IMO. It's a good tune and I dont wanna be too hasty, but I prefer The Good Rebel definitely.

Don't forget, that epic TV advert with the stadium sounds gave the song an extra edge to it

Why would you radio edit a 4:24 song?

Thats the thing, usually the snippet is the song. Like Soldier On, For Anyone and others since the DOYS snippets. Wigwam, Morning Sun and Wind Up Dream are only ones I can think of that got better after the snippets (out of DOYS, DGSS).

Don't know what happened to Noel but I think the lazyness started with The Shock of The Lightning. That song similarly goes nowhere. Think he's listening to too much krautrock or something.
