We already know that Noel may have gone to LA. Mainly because of the VMA's, but of course no one knows if he showed. Well I don't know either. But I think that I'm almost a 100% sure that he did indeed go to LA. This messaged popped up on a spanish reporter's twitter feed: "A dormir que mañana me toca madrugar!!! Si se les ocurre una BUENA pregunta para Noel Gallagher, mándenla ya q me voy a LA a entrevistarlo!" And with the help of Manualex it was translated to: "he's going to sleep tomorrow has to wake up early early!!! If you have a GOOD Question for (Mr.) Noel Gallagher, send it to me that I'm going to LA to interview him" twitter.com/#!/AlejandroFranco The reporter does a show called Sesiones con Alejandro Franco, and he could be interviewing Noel as part of it. Of course this is just one tweet, and is basically a rumor because the tweet is all I have. But it does line up with the timeline of Noel going to LA after the listening party to possibly attend the VMA's. |

He must be staying in LA to record promo for the single that is coming soon like I proposed on the VMA thread. That's great! And it makes more sense than him having gone to NY only for a couple days and then back home to the UK. There isn't much waiting for him in the UK at the minute. At least not professionally. The singles is already out there and nothing much more can be done for it. Hope there is an announcement on his website tomorrow/today (depending on your region  ) I'm impressed he is making the effort to be in the country for even this single. Did he even do that for Oasis? |

Manualex just found something else in the twitter feed of the same reporter that I completely missed: "Suena MUY bien el nuevo de Noel Gallagher! En una de esas me acaba gustando más que el de Beady Eye eh? La comparación será inevitable.." "Sounds VERT good the newest thing from Noel Gallagher! I think i like it more than the one of Beady Eye oh? comparison wont be avoidable" Could be that he was also in NY at the listening party. When my Karmas reset, I'll definitely be giving him another K+ to Manualex. |

I remember when Noel said in an interview that when Oasis just started that they'd play at gigs and people would knew new songs at the time like "Cigarettes and Alcohol" before they'd ever heard it.
That there would be hype and fans would tell each other things.
It's like the same thing.

But I think that Manualex deserves most of the credit. While I found the guy's account and first tweet, Manualex translated the tweet that I found and basically found 3 other tweets. And then proceeded to translate those. So he deserves the bulk of the credit for breaking this one wide open. |

I really hope he'd ask that, or noel would just tell us. It's my favorite of the soundchecks and the tracklist and the review of half the album confirmed that it wasnt on it

Honestly...there is so much that I want to know...but I can never think of any questions.
Just...tell me everything about this album all future albums and your 20 year career and anything else that you currently have an opinion on in a funny fashion.
Actually, I would like to know if Noel is planning on playing his new b-sides live.
And I always want to know more about the tunes. But honestly...he could talk until he was blue in the face and I'd still want him to tell me more. Presumably a journalist if they are worth their salt doesn't need prompting to ask about music. And he'll have heard 6 tracks which hopefully he'll review.

Yeah it seems as if Noel is there doing promo stuff. He might be doing more than the one interview. I just don't see him going to the West Coast for just the one interview. He probably has a couple more things that he has to do there also.
