Heard of The Rifles, but haven't gave them a proper listen so far! haven't heard of the Twilight Sad and Mogwai though! should I be worried? what did i miss?!  The two bands mimmi mentioned are both Scottish and they are brilliant, though I may be blinded by my Scots bias but I don't think so. Other Scottish bands, a slightly bit more mainstream choice would be to listen to bands like Frightened Rabbit and Idlewild, both brilliant again. The frontman from Idlewild, Roddy Woomble has a great great solo album called My Secret Is My Silence which is better than any Idlewild album, although it's mostly all folk with a touch of indie here and there. Also, Fran Healy's (from Travis) solo album is as good as anything Travis have done. |

Check out SCUM, they're a really good band akin to the Horrors and the Verve. Quite shoegazey, I think they'll become really well-known within a year or two.

Why are more en more treads are ending in some bitch fight? Is it cause Noel and Liam also in a little fight of their own. It are most of the time the same users(i won't call names). You should fuck off and keep this forum for real fans of Oasis, Noel Gallaghers high flying birds AND Beady eye. I really like this forum but almost every thread is being fucked by some complete moron(s). BTW is it also possible to see witch IP address have more than one account so it's possible to identify some sick bastards with multiple accounts (personalities) On topic and apologizing to the real fans for the thing i wrote, i had to say this, I'm really aggregated lately cause of this shit: Travis and Miles Kane aren't being mentioned before? i think it's nice to listen too. |
