I think I dig ITBWAB as much or more than anything else Beady Eye has done and I know I dig it much more than either song Noel has released to this point! (I don't care for TDOYAM or TGR at all)

Is anyone else getting tired of the endless polls about BDI v. Noel? This is getting ridiculous, really. Is there any particular reason why these two songs should be compared to each other? Aside from being done by former members of Oasis, they in no way connect to each other.

Bubble With A Bullet has a lot more depth to it and is a much better song, but The Good Rebel is more polished and better produced. Comfortable win for Bubble With A Bullet though.
But yes, these polls are shit.

Sure I can. All these polls should come with a selection of "These comparisons are moronic and I refuse to participate in the stupidity."
People got so bent out of shape comparing BDI to even latter day Noel Oasis material. But now that people think that BDI might be able to win one they are all for comparing Noel's material (2 songs that we've heard) to the entirity of the BDI output.
Lets take the 2 songs that Noel has put out and compare it to the best of what BDI has put out. We'll take the most popular of their single and their most popular b-side and put them up against what Noel has put out 3 weeks into his release and 3 months before his album. Fact is that timing-wise BTL was probably closer to what this single was intended as. Only difference being that Noel doesn't agree with free music so the tune isn't free. Both released several months before the album.
And TOAK was the b-side off what was generally viewed to have been their debut single. But instead we are using the b-side of their 3rd single because someone wants to wank off to the sight of BDI winning a poll.
I'm not annoyed because Noel is going to lose this one. I thought the singles poll was stupid. I thought the poll about the best teaser trailer was stupid. I think this is stupid.

this is a tough one, i really enjoyed TGR, very cool to hear that sound coming back after all the sad boring shit that was TDOYAM(hey, just my opinion).
Having said all that, i don't know that i like it more than ITBWAB. Liam's voice in it is just really refreshing.

Tough one. One is basically a Beatles/Dylan fused song and the other is basically The Rolling Stones.
They also both seem unfinished.
