Sure I can. All these polls should come with a selection of "These comparisons are moronic and I refuse to participate in the stupidity." People got so bent out of shape comparing BDI to even latter day Noel Oasis material. But now that people think that BDI might be able to win one they are all for comparing Noel's material (2 songs that we've heard) to the entirity of the BDI output. Lets take the 2 songs that Noel has put out and compare it to the best of what BDI has put out. We'll take the most popular of their single and their most popular b-side and put them up against what Noel has put out 3 weeks into his release and 3 months before his album. Fact is that timing-wise BTL was probably closer to what this single was intended as. Only difference being that Noel doesn't agree with free music so the tune isn't free. Both released several months before the album. And TOAK was the b-side off what was generally viewed to have been their debut single. But instead we are using the b-side of their 3rd single because someone wants to wank off to the sight of BDI winning a poll. I'm not annoyed because Noel is going to lose this one. I thought the singles poll was stupid. I thought the poll about the best teaser trailer was stupid. I think this is stupid. Well.. I don't know... it seems like you're getting really bent out of shape at the thought of Noel losing this one. Good Rebel, for me. |

The "rain" bit is stuck in my head, its crazy contagious. Sure, it may be repetitive but that only lends itself to being remembered more easily. Love it.

Noel's songwriting is on a completely different and higher level than anyone in BDI. No one in BDI could possibly write anything on the same level TDOYAM.
Every Oasis classic was written by Noel. Every post Oasis classic whether BDI or HFB will be written by Noel
That Bubble bullet song song is a sad attempt at a Rod Stewart song circa 1975.
Come October lets put put both records side by side and continue the discussion.
BTW. I have it on good authority Andy Bell was at Noel"s house very recently for a drink in the back garden. Considering Noel's recent comments pertaining to Andy I find this very interesting

'In The Bubble With A Bullet' is THE best BDI song sans the outro. i only say that because i'm a musical genius, a la Brian Wilson, on top of being a genius.
