So we've got the 1st impression thread and the 'TDOYAM is already a hit !!' thread, but to be honest, after more than a week already, what's everones opinion now? For myself, I like it more than on first listen!  But there's something with this song.... it's strange, but I just doesn't stick in my head! I just listened to it a couple of minutes ago and I can't even rember the melody anymore.. I rate it a solid 7. |

I'm still in love with this song. The brass solo amazes me every time, and the "I'm watching my TV/or is it watching me" part is so good. Gave it 8/10.

Happened to me on the first day too, but it's actually pretty catchy.

I couldn't give it a 10 knowing that that score is reserved to songs like Live forever, Slide away or Champagne supernova. But it's still great, like an 8. An 8 girl is a hot girl

An 8 girl is a hot girl Agreed almost, i gave it a 9. Liked it from first listen and love it even more now. Really excited about the album but an prepared for disappointment was the same after BTL, FLW and TR but was a major let down rest of album. |

Thought it was great on first listen, and it only has gotten better. A solid 8.
And I had the melody stuck in my head after 2 listens already. It's maybe not as good as TIOBI (which I really love) but it's close, and I think it might even be more catchy, since TIOBI doesn't really has a chorus. (But I have to admit that on the other hand the guitar solo is very catchy...)

well, after listening to it several times, i think it's as average(by Noel's standards) as i thought it was the first time i heard it.
It's a 6 for me, not as good as TIOBI(not that i think that's Noel's best or anything), not as bad as some of Noel's past songs. it's not bad, but it's not all that good either.
just my opinion.

I give it an 8. I think it's solid and it really hooked me into the album.
Now I have to go off-topic. (revolve)around, is that second line of "if i had a gun" confirmed? I don't remember seeing that. I kinda like it.

Have heard it a few more times since I last commented on it and I still can't remember much about it at all. Completely forgettable for me, i'd give it a 5 at best.

Not that better than BTL, but I do think it will work amazingly as the fourth track of the album. So I have to see til I listen to the whole album, and consequently I gave it a 7.
