Herein lies the difference between Liam and Noel. Liam is obsessed with Noel. Noel is indifferent to Liam (which leads to Liam acting like a three year old trying to get his attention i.e., wielding a guitar like an axe, throwing plums and leaving messages on his phone late at night.)

I wonder if he thought 'When i post the word 'Dido' I will have mass debate over it's meaning'. Doubt it

The falsetto is like Dido is the only thing I can think of (which is a really long stretch). Unless of course, like mentioned, he forgot the 'L'

Noel is indifferent to Liam (which leads to Liam acting like a three year old trying to get his attention i.e., wielding a guitar like an axe, throwing plums and leaving messages on his phone late at night.) It's always been like that, and from what I've read in books and stuff it comes from even childhood... Whilst Noel is a very reserved person and doesn't really like to show his emotions Liam is very affective and he needs everybody's attention. He might have had it from everyone but never from Noel, who I personally believe he loves madly. That's where I think all the anger comes from, Noel's indifference to him, and I think it's a bit sad really. I've even seen Noel say in an interview that even when Liam showed him his songs, Noel would be like "it's alright, yeah." - he kept constantly trying to impress him but he never could, and that's got to be frustrating.

The horrible moment after you tweet something the 100s of thousands of people will read and realise there was a typo?
I think he meant Dido though. Just saying in 1 word that it was soft pop and not rock 'n roll @ all. Maybe in Oasis the gang talked about Dido once and it means something more specific to Noel?

This... I once heard a story about Keane's first album (on some "biggest selling albums of the naughties2 on C4) that they considered themselves a bit Oasis-y and more rock orientated. Their producer decided to "give them the Dido treatment", i guess that's the kinda thing Liam was getting at.

You post like that's a surprise - he IS Noel's younger brother, and most likely desperate for big bro's approval, attention, whatever. Liam just ain't articulate enough to express that properly, hence the phone calls, the tweets, whatever. Noel can just run rings around him verbally. Liam got the cartoon rock charisma and menace. The argument about Pretty Green isn't really about the programme advert, I reckon it's about the fact that Liam achieved something and STILL big bro is seemingly non-plussed. Noel ain't gonna pat him on the back, rightly or wrongly, but that's what Liam is looking for. Affirmation. Families, hey?

I would just like to point out that Noel has remained neutral, if not slightly positive over DGSS.
I think Liam's been showing a great sense of immaturity and jealousy in recent weeks.

To be fair, that's what you want from your OLDER BROTHER. "Neutral and slightly positive". How would you feel if your family (and I'm not judging Noel here) - judged something you did like that?

Noel has consistently stated (and as LIB just quoted, as recently as this week) that Liam is a great frontman. He's also said very nice things about Liam's contributions to Oasis records (except for Little James, in retrospect). I recall him calling Songbird "one of our best tunes" and "I'm Outta Time" deceptively brilliant or something of the like.
This idea that Noel has starved Liam of praise over the years is ridiculous.

I think Liam's been showing a great sense of immaturity and jealousy in recent weeks. Its exact the other way round. noel is making things public that should be kept private and is acting like an idiot. he is damaging liams reputation. he should shut the fuck up. that prick

Because tweets like this and SHITBAG show great levels of maturity from Liam otherwise.
I just don't know why Liam is making it so easy for Noel!
