I guess Liam sucks then. And, if Beady Eye really cared about having a nice place in the charts, then they probably should of written some good singles. he's not a "fan"... he said he likes her. Hey, i kinda like her and i respect the fact that she's actually a musician who can play the piano, etc... but imo she's a Madonna wannbe and the music she's released has been complete and utter crap. I've seen some footage of performances from before she became "Lady Gaga" and it wasn't bad. Her Lady Gaga crap on the other hand.... As for wether BDI should have written better singles, that's just ridiculous, they have some pretty good songs. Unfortunately they made poor decisions when it came to releasing what when. Yeah, but she sucks and her fans suck, right? And it's not a matter of writing good tunes, it's writing good singles. Some of the tunes on DGSS are good, but none of them really stand out. They're all either mediocre or good. |

people forget that the last 2 Oasis singles weren't massive hits either.
Falling Down barely made the top 10 and Im Outta Time barely reached #12.
Those were songs with the OASIS name behind them, and that was 3 years ago.
It was already going all downhill for Oasis, and it was quite evident. I mean they were struggling even in England, the one place where they were "king".

I still like Noel's song and i will support whatever he releases just like i did with BDI. I just don't think that song is anything extraordinary, hopefully the rest of the album is better, much better. see? it all comes down to personal preference. |

I don´t think 3 years ago "everything was going downhill for Oasis", it´s just that there is now a different generation dominating the charts, and the singles and album sales are very poor from 3-4 years ago to now.
DOYS sold reasonabily well

it was the first album in 3 years from one of the biggest bands on the planet. Of course the album "sold reasonably well"(in the UK and Japan).
But then again, compare that to how many copies DBTT sold...
