i think bring the light was the wrong choice in every way. this free single has blown BDI's chance to get a real credibility. because the major response to that song was utterly bad so they chased many people way before they jumped of the bandwagon

Liam is just spewing a bunch of nonsense there about Lady Gaga.
I mean, whatever, he likes her. That doesn't automatically validate her in my book. She sucks, her music sucks, her fans suck.
As for TBGO charting position, just like with every other song BDI released as a single, it was a poor choice.
BTL should've never been released as the teaser or promo song or whatever the fuck people wanna call it. They then proceeded to waste 4LW for no good reason. They should've done what Noel did and just come out with a strong(more familiar sounding) tune, perhaps play it more safe.
imo the singles should've been:
Four Letter Word
Kill For a Dream
Three Ring Circus/SOTEOTN
Some might say "so basically follow the same formula as Oasis did with DOYS and DBTT ?"
YES! although i believe these songs were far more radio friendly than the DOYS singles(excluding TSOTL of course)

Hey, i kinda like her and i respect the fact that she's actually a musician who can play the piano, etc... but imo she's a Madonna wannbe and the music she's released has been complete and utter crap. I've seen some footage of performances from before she became "Lady Gaga" and it wasn't bad. Her Lady Gaga crap on the other hand.... As for wether BDI should have written better singles, that's just ridiculous, they have some pretty good songs. Unfortunately they made poor decisions when it came to releasing what when. |
