I think Serge has moved away from the importance of the actual lyrics so far... Of course he's written them to kind of make a bit of sense and sing-along-able... But I think he's gone for more of an approach of using the voice as a proper instrument. Like he's using the voices for what they sound like, not to get the lyrics across... If you get what I mean?

Tom really makes that his own... He gets right into it live... He put his hand near my face during it in Manchester! HAHA I think He'll rally take control live in Days Are Forgotten. I find every song from this new album very predictable and quite boring,except Velociraptor maybe, I think Serge shouldn't sing so much, he's got a terrible voice, while Tom's is a lot better.
I hope the songs get better in the album, but I can't say I'm excited as I was with West Ryder, I loved every song that came out before it.
We'll see

After the awful songs Velociraptor and Switchblade Smiles, I was fearing that they were gonna put out a really bad album. But this is much better. The chorus is very good. Not one of their best tunes, but a nice one.

But honestly, yo are the first person that I've heard of that doesn't like Velociraptor!... I think it's a mental tune. Especially live |
