So now the tracklisting's been disclosed, which includes ones we have heard before, whether partly or completely. So what do you expect the album to be like?
I'm eager to hear a full-Noel album; imo his vocals can excellently blend with various atmospheres contrary to the popular doubt. Liam's vocals after BHN weren't so gorgeous and that's another reason for my anticipation. There might be chances of the record being inconsistent on the whole, judging from his choices for album tracks in recent years, but this is his first solo record and I doubt that.
One thing to note however is that Noel ALSO lacks the symbolic aura that Oasis possessed. A lot of people slag DGSS for not having it; Noel's might be the same case.
So what do you think?

I hope for a classic. I have voted excellent, I think it will actually fall between Excellent and Good if I am totally honest.

I love STC and RM, I thinl that with a proper production they can be classics. Noel is an incredibly gifted songwriter who became a little bored, I hope this new start gave him the proper energy to get an excellent record.

Who knows what it will sound like. The snippets we've heard so far will likely sound totally different as they are recorded with new musicians and produced differently. I think that it will be awesome to hear the record and it will be hard for it to be less than "good". I vote "good" anyhow...

Excellent. We already know 4 songs will be. Noel also said he has 4 singles lined up for possibilities - could be some overlap with the 4 we already heard, but this aspect bodes well too.

I'm going to predict excellent - the best tracks from the last two Oasis albums were the ones he sang.
What's interesting also is having Everybody's On The Run as the opening track - and with it beefed up a bit in the studio I think it will sound great - maybe sort of going for that slower yet brilliant opening like Reel Around The Fountain by The Smiths.
This is completely different from Oasis, who always started their albums with a bombastic opener.

Damn it, I missed everything! Why was I in Paris with no internet connection last 3 days?? =S Anyway I think the songs are going to be excellent. We already know half the album from soundchecks/leaked demo's, and those songs are ace. I don't think it will be very rock 'n roll, but thank god we've got BDI for that ;-)
I only hope the album has a large "variety" of songs. If that's the case, I believe we will have ourselves an amazing album

I can't fathom how people think this of the guy who wrote "Live Forever," "Don't Look Back In Anger," and all the other timeless tracks. And, in his own words, wrote "all the songs that mattered" in the last three Oasis albums.
Do you really think Noel Gallagher would write a song resembling "Baby, Oh?" That's insulting to the Oasis legacy, even for Beady Eye enthusiasts.

Well the songs he wrote for DOYS and DBTT were naff IMO, so my expectations are low for this.

Justin Bieber? Noel will cry if he could ever write one better song than any Justin Bieber's songs... Justin Bieber is a legend and he sells more albums than Noel can dream! Noel's album will be good but Justin Bieber is too much for him right now..

I voted Good.
I think the songs will be very good in their own right, but I worry that some of the songs will be a bit samey and will blend into each other. We've already heard almost half of the album, albeit in very early form.
My instinct tells me that it'll be technically better than DGSS but not as easy to listen to. That is obviously just instinct though, it is far too early to judge.
