Not too many fans seemed to know about this... all in all I think I saw around ~15 faces who hung around before/after and were not going in.. some gave up waiting.
Good thing we stuck around though(think there was 6-7 of us). He had a moment for us and was lovely:)

Anyone seen these by the way? Gives you a bit of a clearer idea of how they might sound. This guy is pretty good, and it's not me by the way, I'm not promoting! Everybody's On The Run If I Had A Gun He is extremely good with the Oasis covers. I learned how to play If I Had A Gun, Record Machine, Everybody's On The Run, and STC from him. I play most of them on my guitar. To me, If I Had A Gun is the best of all them, with RM being a close 2nd. The melody to STC has never really excited me. Too much sitting on the A major chord for my liking, and I'm not sure what to make of Everybody's on The Run. I don't think it's a very good melody, yet I believe that it has the potential to be a very good song. |

Could do, would of thought everything Noels gonna do will be through the noelgallagher.com site though, doubt they'd make another website specifically for each project, dunno tho. I get the feeling the layout/logos n stuff on Noels site are just temporary for the moment, as more details come out about the first new album, artwork, promo videos etc then they'll update the look of Noels site specifically for it |

lol well... let's be honest here. He should have just made this a proper solo project and launched it as Noel Gallagher, period. other than that i don't think he's made more bad decisions. Another thing is that i don't like some of the stuff he announced in his press conference. That doesn't mean they're bad decisions. For instance, the fact that he plans to sing Oasis songs when he starts touring. I don't like that but is it a bad decision? no, on the contrary, it'll make things easier for him(when it comes to attracting concert goers). I also hate that he said that his album wont be a guitar-hero type of album, because i take it as there wont be that wall of sound Oasis was so famous for. Again, that doesn't mean it's not the right thing for him to do. Maybe he can't produce another Live Forever/Hello/Morning Glory/etc type of song so he goes for what suits the material he's able to produce now a days. Finally, i hate that he's releasing 2 album because generally that means neither album will be truly great. I hate that one of the albums is dance/electronica genre oriented, but maybe that'll translate into chart success so it could be good for him and his band's career. Really. This long post? Do people get the use of smileys? I haven't even read your post. Just random that you came back with such a lengthy on a joke. well you should've read at least the first line in which i clearly take what you said as a joke (hence the lol) but obviously you made that joke for a reason and that is why i took the time to explain my reasoning. |

It's ridiculous! it's what you get from some pathetic sad little people on this board. the funny thing is some of them claim to be objective but turns out they're nothing more than apologists. Nothing their favorite brother does is ever wrong. these individuals are what we like to call fanboys(or in some cases fanGIRLS). they remind me of the xbox360 fanboys, or the Lebron James apologists. lol |

The conference has made me come to the conclusion that both Liam and Noel are childish pricks to be honest that seriously need to grow up. I kinda knew that about Liam anyway, but Noel is just as bad. His description of "that night in Paris" made me feel sick. Two utter geniuses but both utter clowns.
They could both do with a good hiden.

When LAG announced the new name of the band, Beady Eye... i thought it was ridiculous and i said so on this very board. When they released BTL as their lead-off single, i said how i felt about the shitty song. When i saw the videos for BTL and 4LW, i criticized the lack of production, etc... I don't have to like everything Liam or Noel do, and in fact, i don't. im not a Noel apologist that goes around making excuses for everything the guy does wrong. Like excluding good LAG songs off Oasis albums(for whatever retarded reason), or naming his band that hilariously ridiculous name, or making a fucking electronica genre album, or publicly slagging his brother off ever since the day Oasis started. Obviously same goes for Liam. |

Kind of random but did anyone else have any Noel related dreams last night?
I was really excited for the presser before I went to sleep and planned to wake up around 6 (US Central time) and read what went down. I ended up not waking up until around 10, but I was upset at the news I had read earlier in the morning that his new project was called 'OK Sunshine!' (not sure where my mind came up with that). I also wasn't a big fan of the single he had released, and that If I Had A Gun was left out.
It took me a minute to realize that I had dreamed all that. The real news was much better, although like everyone else I do wish there was a song release.
Not very relevant I suppose but I wonder if anyone else had an active mind last night.
