So oasisnews twitter is "officially"/"unofficially" reporting that Noel may be having a press conference on July 6th. Anyone think that there is any truth to this? I think there could be. It's right where I was expecting news. A little over two weeks since Noel been married and a little over a week before the BDI single drops. twitter.com/#!/oasisnews |

yeah saw this earlier, i was expecting something after the beat goes on was released, not sure if the management would potentially drown it out with a Noel announcement unless thats why its been pushed back?  |

Yeah, songbirdsally opined about a week or two ago that the push back maybe because of some Noel news coming down the shoot. |

Press conference?! He's not a politician. I'm not sure how necessary all of this is. I don't mind the idea of a press conference. Oasis use to press conferences for when they announced special gigs like the one at Slane Castle. So it's not like it's completely out of place or out of sorts. |

oasisnews is not very trustworthty. Yes, he has given a FEW minor news but most of what he writes is what other fans tell him, usually not true.
I bet you that if i tell him Beady Eye will play in certain venue in my country he will tweet that as a rumour/news. and if it happens to be true, his next tweet will be "see, as i told you beady eye will be playing at...."

Remember, BDI still are releasing TBGO on the 17th. Noel won't want to have both their singles come out in the same week, nor in successive weeks. |

Noel doesnt have to release his first song commercially. He could just as easily have a "free download" when the site launches to lure people in, which could happen very quickly. If he is having this press conference, I imagine we will hear something very soon. Like within days. Whether its a commercial single or a freebie is the only guess especially considering how much is already done. It wont be a wait till August to hear something. Buying something is another story. + they share management and undoubtedly any piece of news mentioning Noels new material will mention Oasis and Beady Eye. Thats free press for BDI's new single that wont sell shit just like the ones before it didnt do shit. |

any article that comes out after the 'press conference' would say something about liam and beady eye 'who have their new single coming out next week'
this could be the massive coverage for beady eye as all publications would cover the noel conference
