I don't know if this was always there and I just noticed it or it was recently added to the site, but Noel now has a link to a soundcloud page along the bottom of his website. Hopefully this means some tunes are coming our way soon. It will be here: vimeo.com/noelgallagherNoel with different hair freaks me out...

Kinda sad to listen this. Really... Good to hear that he still speaks to Chris and Gem though. Which we already heard Gem saying but, anyway. It is sad yeah. I know realistically there's probably two sides to this story, but it sounds like Liam was bang out of order that night. Noel looked genuinely sad when he was describing how it all happened.

Noel Gallagher has announced full details of his new solo debut album 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' at a London press conference.
The ex-Oasis guitarist said his new record will be released on his own label Sour Mash Records on October 17 and will be followed up by a second collaboration LP in 2012 with Amorphous Androgynous.
The LP, his first material since Oasis split in August 2009, was recorded in London and completed in Los Angeles during 2010 and the first half of this year. It features 10 new songs and was produced by Gallagher and Dave Sardy.

Musicians appearing on the records include ex-Oasis keyboard player Mike Rowe, The Lemon Trees' Jeremy Stacey and American percussionist Lenny Castro, best known for playing on records by The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder and Elton John.
The album also includes guest appearances from the Crouch End Festival Chorus, who Oasis and Gallagher have performed with before, and The Wired Strings.
Gallagher is due to tour in the autumn but no further details have been announced yet. He launched his own official website, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and MySpace ahead of the press conference. No material has been posted up on any site so far.
The full tracklisting for 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' is as follows:
'Everybody's On The Run' 'Dream On' 'If I Had A Gun' 'The Death Of You And Me' '(I Wanna Live In A Dream In My) Record Machine' 'AKA...What A Life!' 'Soldier Boys And Jesus Freaks' 'AKA....Broken Arrow' '(Stranded On) The Wrong Beach' 'Stop The Clocks'
Rumours surfaced earlier this year that the first single from the record will be the 'The Death Of You And Me'.
Although the track does feature on the record, it is yet to be confirmed as the album's official first single.

That interview made me sad too - not that I was especially interested in Oasis by the end (Noel used the word "comfortable" and that was the problem for me) but it's a real shame. For the record, and in the interest of being on Team GALLAGHER - I think Noel was really precious about not supporting Pretty Green (one page in a programme, Noel), and it sounds like Liam was hysterical on the night. What a shame. Still, we get Beady Eye and the High Flying Birds - so some good comes out of it. Hereby a fan of Both Gallaghers.

Sorry, this is NOT dance music. Although it's fucking good, my feeling is that this is a bit to "weird" (I'm sure there's a better word for it) for your standard dance clubs, that's playing Taio Cruz, Black Eyed Peas, etc. etc. For anyone who hasn't heard the Monsterous Psychadelic Bubble Mix of Falling Down, head on over to youtube and check it out. Like I said, it's really good (Though the female vox on it is not my cup of tea). The fucker is about 18 mins long, and is perhaps a great indication of what we can somewhat expect the second Noel album to be The fact is that WAS NOT a collaboration. That was AA making a AA song out of a NG song. No Noel involvement in the final product really. That was they taking it as far as they could into their territory. I don't think Noel working WITH them is going to be THAT extreme. True, but still, he must've had the final saying in regards to approve the track. And I've got a feeling many of us are gonna be really surprised when we hear Noels Double A album next year.

He said that he gave all the remixers free rein to do what they wanted. He approved it for the b-side. But I don't think he even gave notes on changes for the remix

Shame to know it ended that way... I believe Noel's side of this. I really do.
Liam is cool dude man, but I feel like he flipped out like noel said
2 shows shy of the tour completion, and a hiatus would sound good, but wow they may never get back around

Liam is a fireball. No wonder he generally shugs off the questions about it. He's probably ashamed of losing his cool.
I know I always am when I blow up.

What alot of ppl i think forget is Noel was grumpy almost that entire tour especially after the attack with the ribs breaking incident. He was probably hopped up on pain killers. I see both sides neither helped the situation. I do find it odd that Noel holds a grudge against Andy & not Gem & Chris also.

I see both sides neither helped the situation. I do find it odd that Noel holds a grudge against Andy & not Gem & Chris also. Gem was always a peacemaker. Chris wasn't a member of Oasis. Maybe Andy was the only one that always stepped out And the PG arguments would have started before the tour. Plus he didn't mention it in the converence but we know about the songs left off DOYS

Chris was away for a soup, so he wasn't involved.
Have anyone mentioned Noel's haircut? I don't like it, he looks better when it's a little longer. Like in the middle of the DOYS tour, for example. But, that's not important really. So, I'm off.

I'm sure it was a long long time in the making & I always got the impression both Gem & Andy would always remain neutral & let the brothers work it out on their own whenever there was a disagreement. Noel was looking for them to pick sides but I truly believe Gem & Andy equally admire & respect both brothers & would have never picked sides.

It's having an opinion on your band. They SHOULD all have been invested in the band. Maybe that was Noel's mistake. He thought they were a band. They thought they could behave like session musicians that submit a couple songs. "Liam, PG is your own venture, fair enough you put it in the tour books but you have to pay like every other business" I think that is fair enough "Liam, it isn't Noel that is making the journalists in England take potshots @ you. They are doing it on their own. He hasn't even done an interview. You were the one pictured hooting and drinking at the MCFC game the night before. Of course they know something is up. Even Journalists aren't morons." Again...not extremely controversial "Liam put down that guitar...don't hit Noel in the face please" The fact is...Noel finally agreed with you. Andy and Gem were never going to fully engage with the band. It was just him and Liam...and he thought fuck him. Frankly I wouldn't want to work with a man that tried to knock my head in regardless of how much we disagreed. If my brother came at me with a guitar and tried to hit me in the head in a rage...I would probably stay away from him too. But he wouldn't...because my brother isn't a psycho...even if he was angry i know he wouldn't do that to me OR to our younger brother.

it was all trembling throughout the tour, both Liam and Noel were at each other no-stop so it was bound to come to a head at some point.

But he wouldn't...because my brother isn't a psycho...even if he was angry i know he wouldn't do that to me OR to our younger brother. Andy and Gem were session musicians who knew and understood that Noel and Liam had the real power of controlling the band from all angles. They wouldn't step in because they didn't understand the relationship between them or the roots of Oasis like Bonehead and Guigsy did in the 90s. They always let Noel and Liam work it out and rightly so because they had no idea what to do as they didn't know them from the start. Bonehead was what 2000s Oasis was lacking - someone who understood Noel and Liam and that wasn't shy from getting in between them to stop their egos and sibling quarrells from getting the better of them. No point blaming Andy or Gem for problems that ONLY Noel and Liam could solve between them. Their was hardly the same band chemistry that their was from the early 1990s, it was more like a two person dictatorship in the end.
