So the press can get information an ask a few questions which they will diceminate to their readers. I'm sure some of the news sources will post on YouTube though. Like the Wembley press conference video for Oasis. Maybe The NME. |

Along with the indescribable excitement I have for NG's solo future and record, I cannot wait for his side of the story of Oasis' demise. Obviously he won't enter a slagging match with his brother and, let's be honest, former best mate; BUT we might be able to piece together more of the story.

the album is coming out on late november Why would he start a tour before the album is out? And why do a news conference if you know you won't be releasing an album for the next 4 months? That month sounds completely wrong. Not only does the month sound wrong, late November doesn't sound right either. Late? As in close to December? That month just sounds completely off. If Noel said that, I would be extremely disappointed. |

The timeline for DOYS was pointed out earlier. The official announcement was made on June 24 2008 so we'll be nearly 2 weeks past that. I'd assume Noel's stuff will stick to a somewhat similar schedule, if not a little quicker. I'd put it at mid-October the latest.

It has been pointed out that the reason it took so long from the time of announcement till the time of release was because of things that would later be announced. We're probably not going to have that this time. The things that took us weeks to even be told, much less released will probably be truncated into this one press conference. I'm getting the feeling that Noels created a an album he's extremely confident about, to hold a press conference and build up all this hype gives me that impression. Nevertheless, I'm really excited to hear what he's put together.

Nevertheless, I'm really excited to hear what he's put together. I hope that is the case. He's always confident in every album that he makes, but he may be a bit a more confident with this one. Just because he's done this himself and this is basically his baby. He knows the quality of the songs, and this time he won't be giving away spots to maybe less capable songwriters. Don't know if that will lead to great album, but it probably should lead to him being more confident in the product. |

Do you think they are going to listen the album or the single ? I don't think so. They are not there to review the music, they are there to get info on when the music will be available and in what Noel is going to do with it etc. |

Do you think his website will be launched the same day and we will get a first listen to his single? I just think this press conference is a bit to much if all he is doing is announcing album details, there has to be something more to it.
