So RM and STC are on the album? (Your original post mentioned those 2, but it was a little bit unclear/incoherent....) Good news if true, IMO if this is true, i'm kind of disappointed, t.b.h. this means we'll be waiting around until october to hear finishing touches on songs we've had for years now. i'd rather have a full album of all new material.

If it's Record Machine and Stop the Clocks in the place of a couple other Oasis-esque anthems then, yes, I would be disappointed. But I would certainly rather have fully fleshed out versions of Record Machine and Stop the Clocks than an all-new album of weird, genreless music.

I quite like RM and STC. Wouldn't mind completed, well-produced versions of them. Those two songs were miles better than some of Noel's songs on DOYS (GOYHHL, BIU)

To be honest, all the acoustic versions I heard of Noel's new songs I really like. I wouldn't want much more to be done to them. If he goes all 60's, psychedelic, wall of sound- I'm not sure it would work. Especially on songs like "Don't Stop Being Happy" (which I love, by the way..)

I can't believe we're this far along and they still haven't decided which tracks should go on the album yet. If it's all recorded, you'd think those kind of decisions would only take a day or two to make, at most. You'd think so, but Coldplay have got an album out in October and they haven't even finished mixing their album, also there are still some debate over the tracklisting, so it's highly likely that Noel is in a similar position. Yeah but Coldplay is a band. There are several people to consult and debate with. Noel is an independent artist with a small(er) label/management. If Noel insists on a certain tracklisting, that is the way it will be.

And how come you can speak so relatively openly about what you've heard of the album so far? I mean this is much more specific information than the guy who twittered that Noel was recording in the studio next door and he apparently got this major talking to by Noel's people. If you spoke to Paul G and he knows you then it must be easy for them to find out who you are. I thought everything about this album was supposed to be kept under wraps for as long as humanly possible? THIS! if he really is a genuine source and people like paul g trust him, it's kinda sad that he decides to go and run with the info... I hate giving everyone a history lesson but yes, it's been proven that Jamie has been close to the band for years. He leaked the STC and RM demos to us, and if it weren't for him we might not have EVER heard those songs. Instead of commenting on how sad it is that the Gallagher family trusts him, you should be grateful that he's willing to put his neck on the line and share whatever information he can with us. Also it's not like this is some major act of betrayal or anything. Even after all this we STILL know next to nothing about the album or song titles or what it's going to sound like, and Noel nor anyone else cares about demos from 2005.

Shoes you have no idea what you are talking about.
Here is how Jamie got Stop the Clocks and Record Machine. One of his friends knew someone at Sony they rifled through his CD collection found the demos. Jamie then took the CD along with a Brit award meant for Adele and absconded. He then shows up on The Soapbox and a few people message him to get the tracks.

I was aware of all of that, and it doesn't change anything for me. He still knows people who knows people, and he's still the reason why we have those songs today.

Yeah Rolli we know that he stole the Brit Award and the police showed up outside of his flat the next day demanding that he return it. And we know that he burned a copy of his friend's CD with the demos when his friend passed out drunk. And that he leaked the songs to Soapboxers and personally gave you Turn Up the Sun demo.
But we also know he was hanging out in a pub with Paul Gallagher last weekend and some info was leaked to him, cause he told us that in his post before he panicked and deleted it. So Jamie still has all the major connections.
And that means STC and RM are on the album!

Listen man, I've been pretty vague, yeah u've made me question whether I should say anything at all, but it's the same conversation I'm having in the pub with my mates. I could be a lot more precise but I'm not going down that road again as u lot r fucking vultures.
I've seen the tour itinerary n it doesn't start in Milwaukee.
I last saw Liam @ Royal Albert Hall in March. Noel before that @ Blackbarn. Paul on Saturday night in Camden. We're acquainted, I'm not in the inner circle.

neither will be on the record. In it's place there'll be a song called "Milwaukee" Can we just disable the word "Milwaukee" altogether? The joke has been bled dry 7 times over and the user it's associated with is a douche. I'm ok with it never being mentioned again.

I like the Milwaukee reminders, Rifles. Let's keep them coming. They are almost as entertaining as Oasis Mafia Board and Pete Bones discussions.
