Until Kasabian make an album that's as good as the first two Coldplay records, then I will reconsider. The size of the band has no bearing at all, but purely on musical merits, Coldplay are a much much better band. If you genuinely like Coldplay then you are a c*nt and probably like a bit of bum sex. Simple as that. |

I like Kasabian, I like Coldplay - it's just that I said my opinion on the subject that I honestly think Coldplay are vastly superior, and I'm not the only music fan to think this.
I don't think anyone merits being called a c*nt (laced with homophobic remarks) while being told to 'take a long hard look at myself in the mirror' for this simple matter.
Such a shame that forums like this are brought down by such crass and simple minded idiots like Sex Turkey and Tom Wells.

I didn't know they allowed moderators to troll these days. Which brings up another question....who picks the moderators? This is a thread about Kasabian, there was no need for Coldplay to be even mentioned.
Anyway, Kasabian headline Isle of Wight tonight. There will be a few songs on Sky Arts1 tonight and on absolute radio also. Hopefully we get quality recordings of Switchblade Smiles and/or Velociraptor on these.

Everyone, please calm down. If you love Kasabian, it's ok and if you love Coldplay it's ok too.
Not everyone has exactly the same music tastes as others and if you love Kasabian, but hate Coldplay, it doesn't mean that you have to post how someone would be as a Coldplay fan etc and it's same for the other way around.
I love music, all kinds of music and I love this RnR Section cos I can talk about all kind of music with other members here and I can discover new bands, new music.
As everyone on here knows, I'm a huge fan of The Smiths. They're my number 1 band for my life, I love them more than Oasis. I know there's as much The Smiths haters as The Smiths lovers, but then again, it's me who love them. If someone else hates them, it's their problem, not mine.
