I think they are confused. No one has announced anything. The info they have in that story is from the fake account, I think. Management debunked the account from the official Oasis one. If they had set up an official one I think they would have tweeted if from that account as well. No?

Just read the actual message again -- I'm intrigued by his mention of "epic camera" and "technocrane". As a technocrane is one of these, this could be a pretty impressive video. Wouldn't they be a pretty common piece of equipment for a video shoot?

That's just a tragically bad piece of journalism. They've got the story right about the fake Twitter accounts being deleted, then totally made up a story about Noel's management creating an official account. What's more, the information that they say this official account has posted is just the BS information from the fake. God only knows if that guy is actually getting paid for quality work like that.

I asked Andy Goldstein on twitter if Noel was filming a video today and he replied saying he'd texted Noel and his reply was "no comment" take of that what you will

Wouldn't they be a pretty common piece of equipment for a video shoot? I assumed it wasn't since he'd felt the need to mention it. You'd think he wouldn't list standard equipment for every job he does. I could be wrong, though.

I went to school for broadcast television and videography and it isn't common, its only in bigger budget productions (films mostly). If you make music videos there is a good chance you don't work with a technocrane very often if ever. All this means is that there is money behind Noel's first video. Kind of expected seeing as Noel isn't starting from scratch and has an established name as a musician/songwriter. I expect big sweeping shots ("epic camera" HD, Wide lenses, maybe even a really high end HD cam) from the photos on the Club Ed site www.avlocations.com/index.html it should look great. The mountians/desert like area make me think of the Who Feels Love video.

Sounds like Noel's videos are going to have a significantly higher production value than BDI.

What is it with rockstars not being able to drive?? I think half of them would have to be lying, surely.

What is it with rockstars not being able to drive?? I think half of them would have to be lying, surely. I think it's because in the years they should have been learning to drive they were probably constantly high or drunk and spending all their spare cash on instruments, music equipment, partying.

If they're not willing to confirm, probably a great sign that it's true. Finally starting to feel like I can get truly excited for something now.

My god this Milwaukee stuff is way beyond old...As Ben mentioned in previous thread, his info was accurate at the time...If you guys had half the inside info the Rolli did your wee fanboi heads would implode Yeah, these dumdix are miles from comical. Seeing I live and work in downtown Milwaukee and know THREE different folks in local radio who ALL confirmed one of the TOP local dj's who's been on the air locally for over 25 yrs heard (and had been talking for weeks about) about the show through a promoter he's known for years and they still clowned, what do you want?

God, this argument is so stupid. Of course is going to be playing a lead role in the fucking video. Now, STFU. Do you guys remember he mentioned in an interview that he loved clint eastwood movies, and said he could probably have played his role in a movie. Maybe he's living that fantasy out now.. no shit. What a fucking dreadful pissing-match of worthless speculation. Right when I though I clicked on a thread that would contain meaningful, informative dialogue for a change. fuck.

The guy was also clearly bragging about the film equipment and location, not that it's Noel Gallagher video. As far as Twitter posts go, this one seems quite legit!

I can confirm ............................ NOTHING ever happens in Milwaukee!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah, nothing as in the world's LARGEST music festival every june and july...admittedly not always the best, but there's literally hundreds of acts over 10 days and they've had some amazing years of dense and solid diversity.

The video should pretty much be in the can now and off to the editing crew. With the FA cup final in just three more days I'm sure Noel will be on a first class flight back to dear ol' Blighty today or tomorrow. Wonder where that leaves us with the album?
