As we all now know Yellow Tail is the intro for Beady Eye at their gigs. My question is how would you rate Yellow Tail along side Fuckin' In The Bushes and The Swamp Song as an intro song?
Personally I'd go for..
1. Fuckin' In The Bushes. 2. Yellow Tail. 3. The Swamp Song.
I really hope it gets released on the next single, would love a proper version of it, can't stop listening to it atm, cracking intro music.

it's nowhere near a decent tune I better quote this, we don't want too much empty space here It's rather boring, while FITB is an actual album track and a rather good one too. TSS is worse, but still way better than YT.

I dig them all.
Swamp Song was an incredible gig opener back in the day, really got the crowd rowdy and ready. Everything about it was mega...most of all how Liam would show up halfway through and ask us if we were "MAD FER ITTTTTT!" The studio version isn't nearly as thrilling though.
FITB, on the other hand, is a great studio track, one of the few SOTSOG "experiments" that has stood the test of time. Live, it was obviously just the recorded version but it did the job of 'awakening' the crowd more or less.
Yellow Tail is cool and groovy and different. Much more of a "vibey" track. Can't really compare it to the others as it's attempting (and succeeding) to set a different sort of tone.

Swamp Song by a huge margin.
Not because of the track, but it's INCREDIBLY dramatic having the band come out first, and then building up to Liam coming out halfway. Two cheers for the price of one. I don't know why they didn't continue that.

I think we'll end up having a proper version, C4 has a proper version, it was on the Japan gig highlights last night... but I can't decide, I love them all in different ways

Yellow Tail does absolutely nothing to me. Whereas Swamp Song is a fantastic kick off.

Well, I'd need to hear it properly to make a real judgement, but for what it does YT is good. Its different and it serves its purpose. So yeah, its fine.

Imo TSS is as bad as PYMWYMI. Brings pain to my ears.
FITB is an awesome album track and YT is somewhere in between.

personally i don't like to compare one to others and all those 3 tunes are very original. i love the moment when whitey's drum kicks off (FITB), but the harmonica played by Mr. Weller in the studio version of TSS is always very special to me

The purpose of the intro songs is to introduce the band that's coming on. In 95/6 Swamp Song was perfect, as it introduced the wild Oasis. From 2000 FITB introduced the psychedelic Oasis. On this tour, YT introduces the easy-going Beady Eye.
That's why they cannot be compared. They're all good in doing what they need to be doing.
