I totally loved the gig that the Foo Fighters did as The Beatles, so BDI could play a full setlist like them ;D

i wish someone bumped the threads where people were laughing at the notion of them possibly being able to do Kimmel or Conan. It's like Letterman was totally out of the question. I kept on saying it was all about management and the label doing their job.

This is fantastic news. I watch Letterman almost very night and never get to see bands that I love. This will really help their publicity and will be fun to watch.

Oasis played Letterman routinely so this doesn't surprise me. He's not my cup of tea so I'd prefer some others though.

Nice! But if the past has taught us anything, it's that there's always something that goes wrong when the stakes are high

They were only on the Late show once in the last decade so i wouldn't call that "routinely". Anyhow... Letterman is the best and will always be, at least in my book. Leno's a piece of unfunny shit. I liked Conan when he was on NBC but i rarely watch his show now that he's on TBS. Kimmel and Fallon are alright. Craig Ferguson is just meh...

This is fantastic news. This will really help their publicity and will be fun to watch. I Agree. For the USA this is a mainstream show to get the band across to other people/new fans. I just hope that the band are good & the sound is right on Liam's voice. Jools Holland is the only equivalent showcase they have done in the UK. People I work with know I'm a big fan and they generally think the band were rubbish on the night. Which is a shame. I tell them to go to a gig or watch Abbey Road! Oh and I would guess 1 song...TBGO?

If they do one song... i would like to watch Four Letter Word, but i think it will be a full setlist Beady Eye have confirmed their appearance on Live on Letterman on Wednesday, June 22 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT. The private concert will be broadcast LIVE from The Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City on CBS.com & select CBS Radio stations throughout America.
Following the broadcast, Beady Eye will make their US television debut on The Late Show with David Letterman, airing at 11:35pm ET/PT, and the full concert will be available on-demand on VEVO.com and the CBS online network. So it's definitely more than 1 song Dangerbird did their job! Very nice!

On the actual TV show, they will do one song. That is standard.
And Beady Eye, if you're reading this, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLAY FOUR LETTER WORD AND TEAR THE ROOF OFF THE JOINT.
Good day.

seems like a lot of you guys don't know what "LIVE ON LETTERMAN" is. It's basically a whole concert. The band has also been confirmed to perform on the Late Show with David Letterman, which seems to be what you guys are thinking of. On the Late Show they'll only do 1 song but the Live on Letterman thing is whole different story. They could very easily do a whole hour. For Instance, The Foo Fighters did like a 90 minute show, Taylor Swift(yes i know eff Taylor Swift, whatever) did almost a 50 minute set. So, at the very least we'll have (almost) a whole concert in pro-shot quality. That'll be streamed live nationwide on CBS radio affiliates and on CBS.com(video) so now you know

Taylor Swift(yes i know eff Taylor Swift, whatever) did almost a 50 minute set. She would have done longer but Kanye came on stage and told her Beonce's set was the greatest of all time. I love Dave, not so much now when celebrity culture means he has to suck up to the likes of Paris Hilton, but in his prime he was a genius maverick who just didn't give a fuck and made groundbreaking comedy. I loved Oasis appearance in 1995 - Oasis the biggest band in England, can you guys prove it?. how would we know?.. (Noel: outside, mate.) Dave was a bit of a dick to Bill Hicks in 1993 which he later apologised for to Bill's mom on the show. Looking forward to the performance, and I hope they play one of the more adventurous songs on the actual show - they'll have to play within an under 4 minute window I would have thought to fit in with TV limits.

I'd like for them to play 3 Ring Circus or Kill For a Dream(might appeal more to the U.S. audience). I wouldn't mind it if they played 4LW tbf.
