I know it's a rumour and (most) probably not even true, but a lot of you seem to like it as an album title, while I completely don't... So let's see what most people's opinions are on this  |

A little too generic for me. 'Back from the Darkness' is something I would probably come up with if I was releasing a solo album. Therefore, I don't like it.

More than 90% of these claims are fake. But sometimes (like with Record Machine) they turn out to be true.
I like speculating and hoping rather than slagging all those "insiders". So I'd say yes, knowing that it's more likely he's just a Blur fan having a laugh with us or something =)

Well he didn't made this title up, it is a line from Record Machine: Take me Back from the darkness where they sent me Still, it's not that difficult to take a line from a song and spread the word that it's an album title ;-) |

As others have mentioned, I don't like the suggestion Noel thought of Oasis negatively in the end. Also he can do much, much better in terms of album titles.

When I think of the title I think of "the darkness" being his time off, not Oasis. Like darkness being the opposite of the limelight. So for me the title has no negative connotation.

I dig the title: I Wanna Live In A Dream In My Record Machine. A bit long perhaps, but I think he should go for that. Also, that always rumoured Long Time Wielder Of The Gun album title for Oasis last records is also pretty rad  I've always liked most of the titles Noel comes up with, so I can't wait to see what he calls his new album |

i don't know if it's fake or not... but i don't like it. given it's not a terrible title, it's just kinda meh.
the last couple of Oasis album may not have had great songs in abundance but they did have great titles(DBTT/DOYS).
In any case, i think Noel would be more clever to come up with something better.
