No-one gives a shit unless he carries out a promise to share what he's got. Something more and more people seem to be doing these days. you know, posting his private information on the internet isn't the right way to get someone to give you something. he was absolutely right for pulling out after the way he was treated here, whether or not a promise was made or he had the tapes.

behave yourself as if he was ever going to share the demos. we waiting fucking months for them. also he's plastered all of his details all over the net, all you have to do is type his name into google. if he wanted it to be kept private he shouldn't post it online himself. only got himself to blame for that forget the demos. he had an interesting story to tell. he was answering questions pertaining to the band. i don't remember who posted his private information on here, but doing so not only broke the terms of service of this forum, but showed a huge lack of civility. he could have been harassed thanks to whoever posted that info. that behavior was and is unbecoming of this forum and the people on it.

He wasn't telling interesting stories. You're blind if you can't see that the ONLY reason he came here is to promote himself and Tony's book. Every post he made was an indication of that. We're nothing more than consumers in his eyes. It's quite obvious considering that he hasn't posted outside of this thread, other than one about selling his Oasis memorabilia. He really doesn't care about us as fans one way or the other, so we're not going to give him respect either.

it was me, maybe it was uncivil but so was flooding us with bull shit for months on end. and as for an interesting story? i fail to see what was interesting about what he had to say. "noel treated tony badly" "i introduced oasis"............ great the man is a tosser while he really shouldn't have hung them over the heads of some of our more diehard fans on here, he had every right not to post the demos. even if he didn't have them, you acted in a very unflattering way. i don't know bigun, so i can't judge on his character. one thing's for sure-- even if he is a tosser, that's still no excuse to act like one yourself.

He didn't share any interesting stories...I made this point ages ago. The only interesting thing he offered was the demos. If he had come on here and told a few stories about back in the day that would have been something. But he didn't even do that. People asked him for stories...but he never gave any. But if you can find me ONE post where he shared a story that wasn't a quote from Tony's book I will eat my hat. He came on here to promote the book....that is all. Not to share knowledge or demos. Probably saving any good stories he has for his own cash-in book. LOL He promised demos to increase the readership of this thread. Do you honestly think that this thread would have gotten 24,000 views without the promise of demos? No, I don't think so. Without a doubt he may have HAD stories...but he didn't share them...so who cares about him?

No one said he HAD to give us demos. He offered them freely and said for months that he was going to post them. By October or November we know he had them on his computer, which should have been the most difficult thing (getting them from tape to digital). And he proceeded to promised that he would upload them as soon as he figured out how. It was 3 months from that point before anyone started to get a bit irritable about him not delivering...and even then he said he was planning to give them. If he had decided not to give them and that he had changed his mind...people wouldn't have been happy...but they would have understood. That kind of thing is worth money. I wouldn't have liked it...but it would have been honest. Up until that LAST post he maintained that the only reason that he hadn't posted them was because of technical problems. He had several board members give him step by step directions to upload to a filesharing site or offer to upload for him if he emailed them the tracks or sent them a CD. One of the UK members even offered to meet him to do it with him. He said he'd email them to anyone that asked a couple weeks before he left....and I KNOW people asked but didn't get them. You can say people should have been nicer...but if you think that anything would have made him give up those demos you are dreaming. Don't be a patsy

To be honest I think a lot of the hate directed at Bigun has been her fault; she seemingly signed up to tell us how great he is and never posts in any other threads (unless the mystical Bigun pops up, of course). But i do agree he shouldnt have been treated so badly, he might have got round to sharing the demos eventually if everyone hadnt scared him away

But i do agree he shouldnt have been treated so badly, he might have got round to sharing the demos eventually if everyone hadnt scared him away I really, really doubt he would've shared them. It's possible that he eventually would have offered to sell them, but it's pretty clear he had no intention of giving them away by the end. But while it was pretty dickish to keep baiting us with them until he left, there was no reason to post his personal information -- freely available or not -- on a forum to try and incite harassment in real life. I get the reasoning, but that doesn't make it in any way appropriate. Plus that gave him a great excuse to leave with no further explanation.

The synopsis off Waterstones: In 1991, five wannabe Mancunican musicians came together and cracked a spark that was to ignite the explosion which became Oasis. The band went from obscurity to become a global phenomenon in the space of a year, achieving worldwide recognition and selling over 70 million records. Pre Oasis, drummer Tony McCarroll joined a band called The Rain, linking up with guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, bassist Paul McGuigan and singer Chris Hutton. Hutton was later replaced by Liam Gallagher who in turn brought brother Noel along. What started out as five young lads with a common dream of becoming rock stars eventually disintergrated into in-fighting, clashes of egos and financial disputes. In 1995, following the release of Definitely Maybe - the fastest-selling debut album of all time - things came to a head and Tony left the band. In this candid and hilarious book, Tony tells one of the most in-depth rock'n'roll stories of modern times: he reveals the truth about the early years before the band was even formed; he tells of the drug consumption and sexual activities and he talks of his much-publicised rift with Noel Gallagher. Tony's recollections include stories involving David Beckham, Prince, Eric Cantona and John McEnroe. That last line, sounds the interesting I reckon. Will buy this book I think . im on benifits so where can i get it free? . im lazy so i want to listen to it where can i get the audio book?
