Shawn Marion has the ugliest shot ever. God bless. now that is something we can agree on...as for the best candy bar? ice cream snickers for me. how about a starting 5 of players that could/should have been greats, but for some reason or other failed. C - yao (or oden) PF - l.johnson (or webber) SF - g.hill (or scalabrine ) SG - iverson (or T-mac) PG - j.williams (or penny) a couple of these, like white chocolate, are in because i like them better. penny probably deserves the spot...

Webber averaged 20/10 for his career and would have probably won the title the year the Kings got hosed by the refs against the lakers. He's not an all time great but definitely not a failure. Mcgrady was the second best 2 guard in th league for a long stretch. Just was never efficient or a winner. I think Iverson over achieved. I was never an AI fan but for his size he might be the best scoring little man. Shaq is an all time great but he underachieved. If he would have been more concerned with his free throw shooting and his conditioning than rapping and acting he would have won more than four titles. There is a reason the Lakers and Heat gave up on him. He was the most unstoppable physical presence I ever saw on the court but was unreliable at the end of games.

Think about all the weight you'll lose when you have less feet. yeah, i thought maybe it was a stretch to consider it candy. i'll go with the stock standard snickers then... as for webber & T-mac, the fact that they wont go down as all time greats is the failure. that was the point of the list. they were awesome, but for whatever reason (injuries mainly) theyll find it difficult/impossible to make the HoF...altho webber has a shot i guess. AI was one of my fave players to watch. just electric... agree with you on shaq tho. just didnt take it seriously enough. can only imagine if he did.

Getting back to that whole rings mean more in NBA thing. I think I may have found a loophole and they were not role players like robert horry , Bill Cartwright was the center for the Bulls in Jordan's first 3 and robert Parrish was the center for bostons 3 in 80s On no planet can they Be put in same sentence when discussing all time great centers as wilt and Akeem , who only have 2 each ,, even Ewing who I hate was better than them imo , ........ Parrish especially was a key contributor to Boston and you can't say he was better than wilt or Akkem. Why i still say rings are tough to judge players on even in NBA ....where I think it does mean more , but by using that comparison , not really

The old orange sherbet flavored Push Pops are really good, too. God bless.

Curry is such an awesome player. I love watching him play. We haven't seen many PG's with his offensive package. Defenses completely change when he is in the game. A top notch shooter, play maker, and ball handler.
Still can't believe he went to Davidson. When he broke out during the NCAA tourney I knew he could be something special. Its great to see that his health and work ethic have allowed him to become one of the best in the game.
It looks like he is the best PG in the world right now. Paul is still great and Westbrook is a handful but the way Curry has been playing is just amazing. There's a joy and hop in his step.
Paul looks like he is feeling the pressure of winning.

I really miss watching T-Mac and AI play. They were just pure offensive killers.
T-Mac's 13 points in 35 second is the greatest sports event that I ever saw live (on TV). It stuns me how he just ripped through the Spurs like that. He was my favorite player as a kid. I'll always wonder what could have been but he had a nice run of 5 years of being supremely dominate. Should have been longer and he never should be blamed for not taking his teams past the first round. Dude lifted his game every year in the playoffs. His teams just weak or injured. When he lead the rockets to the second longest winning streak in 2008 (now 3rd) that was kinda of his swan song.
Interesting fact Shane Battier was a part of both the 2nd and 3rd longest winning streaks in NBA history. First with the Rockets in 2008 then the Heat in 2013.

Glad he had a good NBA career. Look forward to him on ESPN. I imagine he'll be a bit better than his college teammate Jay Williams (who has slowly improved), and who by all accounts really could have been an amazing NBA player. Damian Lillard-like perhaps.
