Didn't know that either. Mucky Fingers would've been a lot better with Liam on vocals.
Used to hate it until I heard it live. But I think if they had released it as DBTT's first single (even if was the Liam version) this would've been one of oasis biggest mistakes.

yeah considering it is one of oasis best songs from the past decade and praised universally by critics.

For me the following is true for both songs. I really like both songs but if I'm honest with myself, if I heard them on the radio by some band (insert band here), I wouldn't go crazy for them.

The truth is I really love those songs because they are good but also *different*. When you really like a band and listen to it a lot it is easy to get very tired of it quickly if all the songs sound the same. I believe diversity is important. Not every song is going to be a classic but when a band increases its variety it's a good thing ( as long as the song is decent)

Noel said the lead single was originally going to have him on vocals but he didn't like the thought of a non-Liam lead single and Sony wanted Lyla. He didn't actually say which one it was going to be so I always took it as TIOBI. Its only on here that I read Mucky Fingers. Surely if it was Mucky Fingers then they'd release it as 2nd or 3rd single?
