Yeah I know what you are thinking ''not another versus thread'' but I think in this case we can compare the two songs pretty well. Oasis' last B-side and Beady Eye's first.
What gets your vote?
World Outside My Room hands down for me, what a tune! I love it.

I like it, it's different for Liam to sing like this, but I love TSHB. Love it

I vote WOMR...what an easy one.
It's a bit of a nonsensical comparison for me though. The two songs are removed from each other by almost 5 years since it's obvious that TSHB was recorded as a b-side for DBTT.
Although it was actually released during the time of DOYS I don't really think of it as part of that era's output.
One of the weakest b-sides in a while...obvious that Noel realized that he needed to put something original on the b-sides after IOT charted outside the top 10...but he was too lazy and disinterested to record a new original and instead used something that had totally missed it's time.
TSHB sounds better to me when following MF as intended...it sounds a bit rubbish taken in isolation.

This isn't even a contest - WOMR by a mile. It's something new, is jauntily energetic, has a vocal style we haven't seen from Liam in 15 years = quality
Far better than the yet another Noel plod that is TSHB.

Oh definitely TWOMR...incredible little number. Fits very well as the bside to FLW but I think it shoudl have made the album, maybe in place of B&S or WUD.

TWOMR and it's not even close. lyrics are both decent at best in both songs but Liam on vocals >> Noel on vocals, always.

Simple opinion simply stated...be grateful! I really never have heard anyone rave about TSHB though. I've never even seen it referred to by someone in relation to amazing b-sides.

Both are trown away B-sides from the two brothers of the greatest band of the 90's but since one continues(or atleast that was the original intention) from my favorite track of DBTT i have to give it up to Those Swollen Hand Blues.

About that...Mucky Fingers originally meant as a single and TSHB as the b-side? Or was it originally planned to be on the album?

from dbtt? no... at least, not the ones we've heard anyway

from dbtt? no... at least, not the ones we've heard anyway That's why I am inclined to think it was intended as a b-side instead. Originally Lyla wasn't gonna be a single, right? Maybe Noel was planning on MF to be a single before he was convinced about Lyla...
