Now I think Wonderwall is the closest we do actually have to a song Oasis did like The Roller. I have also included Stop Crying Your Heart Out because it is ALMOST similair and also, it was on Heathen Chemistry, to which The Roller was meant to appear in the first place?
To me, SCYHO wins this everytime:
1. Stop Crying Your Heart Out
2. The Roller
3. Wonderwall
So what about you?

Studio wonderwall bores me to death, acoustic live with liam's vocals on top is a different ball game but the studio just doesn't do it for me. It's close between TR and SCYHO and i'm gonna be honest it's probably only because TR is fresh it pips SCYHO.

I was never that keen on SCYHO, Liam's vocal sound atrocious. I like The Roller.
But I don't go in for all the Wonderwall hate. Sure it gets annoying because that is such an over-used song. But tbf...it's a good song. They have better but people only knowing Wonderwall doesn't make me ashamed because I think it's a good song in it's own right.
Wonderwall, all the way.
I don't think that The Roller has much to do with either WW or SYCYHO, though. Don't get the comparison.

All good songs in their own right, which makes this poll difficult, if not impossible.
I went with SCYHO, though. A great ballad. (Then I'd pick The Roller, then Wonderwall - perhaps thats cos TR is new and Wonderwall is over played, who knows).
What I will say is that polls like these - and the adverts for the likes of STC and Time Flies really showcase how good Oasis are/were.

wonderwall stop crying your heart out the roller Comparing a banal ballad to 2 all time great songs. Wonderwall, one of the best songs of the 90's, SCYHO, one of the Top 3 best Oasis tracks of post 2000, and The Roller which prob. wont be in Top 25 songs of this year, much less decade. |

WW and SCYHO are way ahead of TR. Not even in the same league, it's ridiculous to even compare them.
WW is a classic in the whole world, one of the biggest songs of the last three decades, at least in Europe.
