I'm going to leave my choice blank for now. But I'd say a solid 4/5 to perhaps a 4.5/5.

I went 4/5. I think its a quality tune, not a classic but a great opener and should be sounding cool live as well.

4.5/5 for me, i was absolutely blown away when i first heard it this morning, it reminded me of bring it on down and dare i say it i think its at least as good if not better! To me this is 10x better than anything else LAG have written before(that ive heard so far)... and out of the clips that leaked last week it was only my 5th favourite behind the roller, for anyone, kill for a dream and the beat goes on so it looks like we're all in for a real treat come February

I probably should have put a 4.25 option in, cos I can't make up my mind. I'm really pleased with this. The only part I think that could have been developed better is the "Nothing ever lasts forever" part.

The only bit that disappoints me is that the outro drags on a bit again (could be even longer on the album without the fade out)

I ended up going with 4/5. Solid start, and I'm sure there's even better efforts on the album.

8/10 (4/5) Nice rocking tune. Love the guitar solo in the middle. Much, much better than BTL. Can't wait to hear more songs.

I never really got bring it on down, its my favourite type of oasis song, you know the bring it on down/morning glory/headshrinker type song but for some reason its just never really grabbed me in the same way the others did. there both really similar but if im being honest here listening to the two side by side im definitely leaning towards FLW

it really depends on what basis you're gonna rate this track(in what context) As a debut album's opener..... it's a 4.5/5 Compared to ANY opener of other Oasis album(Hello/Rock N Roll Star)... then it's a 3/5 compared to the last 2, maybe even 3 Oasis albums, then it's a solid 4/5
The fact of the matter is this measures up very well to anything Oasis has done since 2000, as far as album openers is concerned.

Compared to a banana it's easily a 5/5 so lets all do that instead, that way the album is going to be mega!

4/5 Great tune only problems are that the 30 second noodling at the end should be cut, and the terrible lyric about a 50 amp fuse

It's a decent opener for an album with decent lyrics. Vocals are decent, guitars are decent, plain bass track, amazing guitar solo/feedback, and great drumming. So I gave it a 3.5. I'll wait a couple months if I change my mind though. I've only listened to the song 2 times and could care less about hearing it again.

I've given it a not bad 3.5. (relative to late Oasis, not early Oasis).
(Would have given Bring the Light 1.5, and that cover track 1.5)

I'm giving this a 4/5 for sure and I know that after a few more listens it will improve. I would give BTL a 3.0 and SOTS a 3.5.

I always think its funny that people put 5/5. Oasis has had a few 5/5 songs, but just a few. To put this up there with those songs is a crime. I'd say a good 3.5/5, because I do think it's a pretty good song.
