It keeps getting deleted from youtube once it is uploaded there. I wonder if they will move the release date forward due to it being leaked (even though they were just 30 second clips).

Just had a listen to each of the previews. Very impressed actually, Bring The Light seems to be the weak link, strange that they chose that one as the free download. (Lowering expectations maybe?)
I think the more they edge towards The Beatles influence, the better it sounds. Early standouts seem to be For Anyone, Kill For A Dream, Wigwam and The Beat Goes On. Noels 9 year old description of The Roller is bang on too.

My clip review.
Four Letter Word- Okay
Millionaire-potential to be good
The Roller-really enjoyed this, this could be a pot smoker sing-a-long for years to come
Beatles and Stones-not really feeling it so far, I've heard worse tho
Wind up dream-pretty cool chug a long
Bring the light-okay
For Anyone-sounds very mellow but okay,might be good.
Kill for a dream- I think this could be a huge soaring epic
Standing on the edge of the noise- "get back" rip-off. Not my cup of tea
Wigwam- sounds like it could be a very heartfelt deep classic. Love the lyrics so far
Three ring circus-okay
The beat goes on-not feeling it from the clip
The Morning Son- my favourite clip, along with the roller and wigwam.
Overall much better than I expected judging by these clips.
Cheers. Now bring on the haters, I'm sure a few of you will tell me to piss off or something. This is just my opinion on the clips and "NOT" what I'm telling you all to feel! Just making that clear.

beatles and stones is definately my generation by the who. the lads have for sure leaned heavily on there hero's for this album which may be no bad thing by the end of it all. sounds like a solid start to proceedings,,,,,,,,

Dont get me wrong i know the clips are all we got to go on right now, but the truth will come when the full tracks are out, so difficult to judge from snippets. ok cheers man, no worries, i was trying to get my flat mate into some live oasis, and recommended your blog but when we searched it was gone, good to hear its still up Cool, there will be a load of live stuff put up next month mate so keep an eye out. Best thing to do is bookmark both rkid003.blogspot.com/ and the back up rkid002.blogspot.com/ just incase anything happens to either.  will do mate, thanks again, its a quality blog |
