Seriously. This doesnt sound good! I am very dissapointed. There clearly are some good melodies in there but Liam really sound bad. Not one good song from him on this album. The Roller sounds like the best song though. Most other songs are totally unlistenable mainly cause of Liam. This guy must udnerstand that it is time for him to stop singing. He once was the best singer in thw world. It is tragic to see that he now is just a real joke and the only reason why he still is a singer is that he can live on his past but seriously. Liam is just a horrible singer nowadays. Liam did some great songs on DOYS (TSOTL, Outta Time). but this is just not good at all from him. This album is not close to any Oasis album. Not even SOTSOG. many different people, many different opinions. and IMO liam sounds good enough for me! and sotsog is one of my favorite oasis albums after be here now.

Well its a forum and youre entitled to your opinion, be boring if we all said 'great album'. But i'm surprised you seem so anti it, considering we've only heard small snippets (and yeah to be fair people shouldnt either rave too much about it based on these). Dont agree with this at all though.... It is tragic to see that he now is just a real joke and the only reason why he still is a singer is that he can live on his past but seriously. Liam is just a horrible singer nowadays. Saw Oasis a few times on the Dig out your soul tour, thought Liams voice was much better than a chunk of the 00's. The last time i saw them at Wembley Stadium Liam was excellent, his voice was great and its one of the best times i've seen them. Some people might say his voice isnt as good BUT i wouldnt say he is a 'real joke', think thats OTT. Horrible singer ? Nahhh. I'm happy with what i've heard so far, i was expecting an album full of Meaning of Souls/Bring the Light but theres a fair few tracks i cant wait to hear the full version of.

The clips sound fantastic, Liam sounds amazing. I cannot wait for this album now, exceeded my expectations, I was quietly shitting myself that it would be a huge let down but after hearing these we're in for a treat!

I think some of you are missing that Liam is actually sounding good. There's loads of overdubbing going on. maybe this is what is putting some of you haters off? It's not Oasis - it's different to anything out there today - I like what I hear so far! Thank god for Beady Eye!

I, personally, am blown away with Liam's vocals. He's reaching higher notes, and he's actually singing more and sneering much much less.

Wow, can't believe how much the "Kill for a Dream" clip sounds like "Rockstar" by Nickelback. I still really do like the sound of the Beady Eye song, but what an embarrassing comparison. Compare. Nickelback makes me suicidal. You just somewhat ruined that song for me now Hopefully I'll get over it cos I initially was liking Kill for a Dream!

Hah, I'm really sorry, NL4E. But with the ever-presence of Nickelback on the radio, it was an inevitability.

Im pleasantly surprised with these clips although i will reserve judgement until ive heard the whole album. Its difficult to judge a whole song from 30 seconds.
Bring The light was a bit dissapointing to me (Lyrically more than musically), sounds like it could well be the worst track on the album.
Kill For a Dream does not sound like a Nickleshit song (Its only the first guitar bit that has any similarity). When i listen to Standing On The Edge Of Noise i can not get Get Back out of my head.

Can't wait till Feb 28th now. This sounds pretty special to me. Lots of influences in there (apart from Lennon) - Charletans (Millionaire), Stereophonics (SOTEOTN), all of which i love, so can olly be a good thing.
Don't know if anyone else has mentioned this - but The Beat Goes On has to be a Liam song? "Singing this song, you know the one"!! Sounds good anyway.
1 thing that bugs me - The echo effect on The Morning Son. Similarly to Soildier On, its just puts me off. Hopefully its not so noticeable on the full song, or the song's so good I don't let it bother me.
Well done the lads!!

It sounds.... very average. The best songs are the ones that sound like stereotypical 60s tunes. Hopefully the actual album is good, but I'm definitely lowering my expectations for it.

The Beat Goes On is pure Neil Finn....look him up, they share the same manager, he's maybe rubbed off on Beady Eye

Liam always sounds good in a studio. Why is anyone surprised? He gets as many chances as he wants to get it right in a studio. His vocals on DBTT and DOYS were excellent for the most part. On stage is where his vocals have suffered.
This is more underwhelming than I could've predicted. Obviously, 30 sec clips dont show the whole picture, but these songs are even more formulaic than Oasis have been the last few album cycles and this big rock sound that has been touted does not exist on many of these tracks. Its simple pop/rock with Liam the lead songwriter instead of Noel.
Hoping for the best, but this feels like a clunker.

Whaaa? Liam don't sound THAT bad, I'd still give my left nut just to have half the voice Liam has today... Ah yeah, Beatles & Stones does sound like a cross between My Generation and a bad cover of 22-20s Devil In Me

I'm under the opinion that anyone thinking Liam sounds bad on this album is either certifiable or just in denial. He sounds pretty much the same on this as DOYS which is way better than DBTT.
On DBTT he sounded insanely strained and horsed on pretty much every song but LTBL and Lyla. Anyone who said he sounds better on that album seriously needs to go back and listen to it. It had some of his worst Vocals of any oasis album of the 2000's.
