On the Beady Eye website: BEADY EYE ANNOUNCE ALBUM DETAILS! 2010-12-06 10:00:00 BEADY EYE release their eagerly anticipated debut album ‘DIFFERENT GEAR, STILL SPEEDING’ on 28th February 2011 on Beady Eye Records. The album features 13 brand new songs written by the band and was recorded at RAK Studios in autumn 2010 with producer Steve Lillywhite. A taster for the album, ‘Bring The Light’, was made available for fans on the 9th November here at beadyeyemusic.com and was downloaded or played over 350,000 times in 24 hours. The VIDEO has received over 600,000 hits since it was premiered a week later. The band (Liam Gallagher, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock) also put their first UK tour on sale on 26th November with tickets selling out within 30 minutes. So there we go, the tracklisting is out. The Roller has made a return from the Heathen Chemisty days...does that mean they have finally got it right in the studio now then?
What do we make of the fact the tracklisting coming out so soon?

Beatles and Stones could be just a lyric.
Why try and hide their influences? Liam and Noel never have so what better way than just to mention them in a song
It's probably not a love songs about the Beatles and Stones!

LOL @ them calling a tune Beatles and Stones.
I shudder to think what the lyrics of a song called Wigwam will sound like. LOL. God I hope it's like The Hindu Times and not related @ all to the song subject.
Favorite title: Kill for a Dream
Least Favorite: Wigwam
As for the album title...kinda sounds like a second album title, doesn't it? I mean, obviously they are referring back to Oasis with it...and frankly I think that it's a bit daft of them to do. With an album title like that...to me it seems to encourage comparisons between what they are now (BDI) and what they were last time they released a record (Oasis)
Don't hate the title really though. Personally, I think they should have saved that title for a follw-up album.
I think that it is a title that will probably be punned and word-layed to death in the headlines. Looking forward to seeing the daft headlines. LOL
