Who do you think they'll have?
Liam seems to like Exit Calm and Broken Vinyl at the moment as he had them play at the pretty green club night.
On their last tour, stadium gigs aside, Oasis favoured smaller acts such as Free Peace and Twisted Wheel.
I assume, as it's Beady Eye we won't see anyone that famous.
What do people think?

Great question. I'd love to see somebody exciting and in the league of Tame Impala or TSOOL, but I doubt they will go for anyone that established. Here's hoping that it is someone good.

I would have said Miles Kane earlier in the year as he has a solo record coming out at the same time as the tour and isn't a massive act. Miles said his album is very 60's and Lennon-esque so he fit the vibe of the show too.
Liam seems to be pretty friendly with him to as he was at the Pretty Green Launch Party but that sort of act seems very unlikely now but you never know.

^ Unlikely because he worked/is working with Noel, I presume?

Miles Kane is doing the rounds as a support act at the moment. He's on tour with the Courteeners so it's possible. He will have just finished his solo tour when the BDI play next year.

I don't Liam is stupid enough to go for Exit Calm as a support act. They're simply too good and they'd steal the show no doubt. Their debut album is really great, got an early Verve vibe to it but still kinda unique sound overall. My favourite album of the year.
Pessimistic I know, but I really hope they won't go for a band of that quality, I just can't see the lads topping them

I know Mando Diao isn't the topic at hand, but if I may throw in my two cents, I have to say the first 4 are actually really good. The first 3 are pure fucking gold, but the fourth is the sleeper. Really quality stuff on that record. Fifth one...I don't know, I don't like it as much as the first 4. Not terrible, but not great.

brother would be a great choice - the real people ;D - the sums (digsys band) - cast (maybe too popular for support?) - All of the above would be fucking brilliant, imo

Has anyone considered that they could support a bigger band? Much like Oasis did with U2 in the 90's. Not saying that that will happen, but it could actually be better for BDI. After all, the album can turn out to be mediocre and not good enough to sell gigs out, depending on the size of course.
