i love their first 3. The 4th barely gets a listen, but i dig the last one a lot too Give me Fire is too mainstream for me, Never Seen The Light of Day (the song) is great, a bit like Wonderwall. I hear what you mean. Dance With Somebody is petty mainstream but i thought other songs were a return to their sound. And yeah that's a good song, the album seemed rushed and unfinished to me. But yaaah, great band. Don't have many rock n roll bands with their sense of melody anymore. actually the only thing about them that bugs me is how difficult it can be to get their albums in us.

brilliant choice! And i personally think it could happen! DSC are a brilliant young new band that have supported some of the biggest artists around. Last year they supported Oasis. They are supporting Ian Brown in Manchester in a couple of weeks. I'm sure they would be perfect for the Beady Eye shows.....

Has anyone considered that they could support a bigger band? Much like Oasis did with U2 in the 90's. Not saying that that will happen, but it could actually be better for BDI. After all, the album can turn out to be mediocre and not good enough to sell gigs out, depending on the size of course. I'd love if they supported The Who.

I dont think they will in the UK, but possibly in America. Would be beneficial to them to gain extra support. Not sure who though.

I've always been pretty confident they wanted Miles Kane. And I would be delighted if it is him, he's a class act.
There both into Lennon & 60's music, Miles was at the Pretty Green Launch Party & Chris's son (Jay Sharrock) is the drummer for Miles.
Oh and for anyone who hasn't heard Miles. His first single, Inhaler...... His second single due out in Feb......

LOL...Noel played on the abum Miles is promoting, as we all know. It'd be hilarious if Noel came on as a guest for Miles Kane if he were opening for BDI.
How nuts would that be!
I know it's never going to happen...you don't need to point that out to me. But it would be funy wouldn't it?

BE should do some summer festivals I think.

Gem isn't a given.
