can anyone else hear - Right at the beginning sounds like the outro to another song? ? You gotta turn it up but definitely sounds like a fade out!

Its a good cover. Its BDI going with a safe bet b-side cuz they probably knew that BTL would get mixed reviews so they went with a safe bet b-side which kinda worries me bur ill leave that for another day.

I like the cover. The problem though is that the cover b-sde is better than the A-side. I'm not trying to be a downer but BDI needs to prove to me that they can write a great song. This cover is still the equivalent of Noel writing a song and them doing it. I hope that BTL was just a filler. But I still don't like that a cover-b side is better than the A-side. Still though a good cover by Liam and Co. Hope they can write a great song of their own. I agree with you here. I really like this and can give the BTL a miss. If this cover was brought out after hearing another original song or 2 then I wouldn't have minded as much because at least we'd have a bit more idea on Beady Eye and their own songs (same could be said as why i've not lost faith with them after BTL, it's only 1 we've had song so can work both ways)

Better than BTL. I don't like the production though, am I the only one? nope, i don't like the production. I gotta say, the song isn't bad... i guess it's a "good tune" but personally i wouldn't spend any of my time listening to it, if it wasn't Liam the one on vocals... the song sounds very 80's... sorry, but i hate most music from that era. Wayyy better than BTL(which i thought was a very poor effort) but still not the "sound" i like and was expecting.

I fucking love this cover so much, fantastic stuff.
By the way, at the start when a man is talking, I'm sure he says ''Time Flies''

I love it! Only thing that bothers me is why does it start almost exactly like Weezer's "Memories"? lol

Getting better - I really like this, and I though BTL was decent. Its promising - I am looking forward to the album and tour (coming to the US hopefully).

My favorite bit is when Liam is singing "The floor's an ocean and this wave is breaking" I really quite love that bit... I thought the same thing when I first heard it. I was listening to it on my phone on Youtube and couldn't make out what he was saying, but could still tell he nailed that line. My favorite part of the song.

'Bout time some Oasis-related song came back with swagger (cover song notwithstanding).
For the record, I'm really liking "Bring the Light," too.

this is legit. Sure it sounds like Oasis but damn it, its been a while since i've heard a mildy anthemic Oasis track. I love the production its got the madness of BHN but its mature I love it. Liam needs to be brought out a little bit more, it might be the quality. This doesn't really prove that much to me regrading BE but it shows that they can turn a decent song into something epic with not only Liam's vocals but with an overall arrangement and vibe. If they can write their own tunes and still be as good as this then I will be a very happy guy.
