Everyone will be in the dark until the album is released but who is to say that the singles wont be very poppy, main stream and lack a little in dynamic but the album tracks could have a bit more power and complexity to them. I may be wrong but i think some people are jumping the gun a little get angry or disappointed and the other way getting too excited and thinking that Beady Eye are gonna be massive. The one thing this project does possess is a hint of surprise and secrecy, basically anything could happen. That still doesnt change the fact that the b-side cover is better than the A side. I didnt say that this was bad sign for the album. But its pretty rare for all of a band's singles to be fillers and for them to keep the best tracks on a album. Not saying that will happen. I mean its only the first release, but I ont see them releasing singles that are just fillers. Sorry I should have been more specific, I just meant in general people are taking these two songs to heart when really the truth is nobody knows what will be on this record. It could be really good or really bad. I didn't mean you personally think the album will be a poor effort, just brought it up because you said you rate the cover over the a-side and in recent times i don't believe that a-sides oasis released were a good indication of how the album would sound. |

^^I would agree with you on the A-side argument, if Oasis had released To Be Where There's Life or Nature of Reality as a single, but they didnt. Even their bad single choices were still pretty good songs. I've heard people argue on here that this is a filler and probably the worst song on the album. If this is the worst song then I hope the best is really really good.

Yeah I agree with the DOYS comment. Also when DBTT was released, I remember Gem/Andy saying Love Like A Bomb should have been a single, so with different leadership we could expect the single not to be the best on the album and also not a great indication of the vibe of the album.

I never thought Beady Eye would release their best song as a free download. Surely that'll wait for the first single. They 'might' have released a 'filler type song' just to keep us all happy (that didnt work really).
To me bring the light is a filler track like 'Hey Now', i'm still looking forward to the album and hearing some cracking tunes (i hope).
But i never thought they would release their best song as a free download way before the tour/album comes out.
I'm not super down about Bring the light (actually growing on me) , cant wait to hear the first proper single and i hope thats a good un
