Not really. It was a bad result but it was really a meaningless end of season game with little to play for and a weakened side. Not as bad as dropping 4 goals to a newly promoted team

You don't sell him for fair market value, he'll end up coming home for free after his contract runs out.
BTW, his actual worth is the sum of all his salaries until the end of his contract. So he's worth less every year. Remember how Owen left Liverpool. How Henry left Arsenal.
We're not going to go Madrid style and pay whatever you ask, even if it's twice his worth like what happended with CRonaldo.

Cesc still has his entire career ahead of him. If fucking 1 goal Torres is worth 50million, and if Any Carroll is worth 30million, how can you say Cesc isn't worth those 2 combined? Crazy.

Cesc is very injury prone too. I think he's been injured more than Owen this year. And Torres is clearly not worth 50 mil, I think we all see that now, right?
Abut Carroll, not sure if it was such a good buy. Suarez was a very good one tough.
Again, if Arsenal don't sell Cesc, he'll end up coming to Barça for free at age 28. Or for 10 milllion at age 27.

Whether it represents market value or not, next season Arsenal will be much better off with £35m worth of new players than they will with a sulking Cesc Fabregas.
Captain indeed.

Cesc hasn't sulked, and wouldn't sulk. His patchy form this past season is due to playing nonstop for a good 3 years. He'll reap the benefits of a summer break for this upcoming season. There's no doubt Cesc loves Arsenal. However, I will not begrudge the day he moves back to Barca. He made it very clear from the very beginning that he wanted to move back, and that's fair enough. I don't doubt his committment while in a Gunner's shirt, though. He's no Nicolas Anelka.
