I am going to say George by a fair amount but I know there are
a lot of people on here who love Liam and his tunes.

Quite obviously George - no offence to Liam's songwriting but he's never written a tune as great as My Sweet Lord. No contest surely.
P.S. I thought this article was about their style and dress sense, where I would of gone for George also. Liam just looks like a twat these days.

Liam hands down. George just doesn't have the swagger. My old black labrador might have had a better swagger than George but didn't mean she could write a better tune. I agree wth NYR - I am shocked at how close this poll is. |

I absolutely love While my Guitar Gently Weeps and Here Comes the Sun, but I enjoy Liam's songs more (electric version of songbird, BoaDC, IOT). So: Liam. I know it may seem strange, but I listen to his songs more.

Talent wise? We all know who's better, even if we admit it or not. But Liam is the greatest frontman of all time (possibly, he's in top 3 anyway) and also has (had) the best rock 'n' roll voice of the last thirty years and George Harrison was never the best at anything he was good at. So therefor Liam gets my vote.
But we all know he was a great songwriter and he was miles better than Liam.

I'm sure Liam's said this on many occasions - if you don't have swagger, you're not rock n roll. And this is what this thread is about. Christ, Liam can put it on too much but he has better musical ability than George. George isn't known for anything, but Liam is renowned worldwide for his distinctive singing voice. It may not be pitch perfect (he's not an opera singer...) but, at the end of the day, it makes Liam Liam. And George? He's nothing compared to RKid.

How is 'George isn't known for anything' the 'truth'?. Well it isn't, he's known for a great many things.
And as far a musical abillity goes, I think every music lover on the planet would agree that George had the greater musical abillity except you of course.
