Sorry if it's already been posted, but here's the tracklisting of Ashcroft and his guys debut album called 'RPA & The United Nations of Sound', to be released on 19 July 2010.
Are You Ready? Born Again America This Thing Called Life Beatitude Good Loving How Deep Is Your Man She Brings Me The Music Royal Highness Glory Life Can Be So Beautiful Let My Soul Rest
I'm listening to his latest bootleg from Ancona last week and I must say it sounds better than I expected. Looking forward to see him on Sunday.

Thanks for your post, Ross. I was wondering if this thread of mine will be end up with no reply as always.
BTW, I've read that Mr. Harcourt is going to release a new album soon, Ross and I still gotta see him.

I didn't like the first track I heard... but after reading an interview with him in Q Magazine about the whole project, I'm excited again. I'll give it a shot, I liked some of his solo stuff so why not? I know it's gonna be pretty different, at least hes expanding.

I agree with you, TheImportance. After listening to his gig last week, I'm very curious about my upcoming gig on Sunday.

I saw him last night and I must say I really enjoyed the gig. He played quite some of his new songs, some of his early solo songs and 3 of The Verve songs - Lucky Man, The Drugs Don't Work and Space And Time.
His new songs and his new band, The United Nation of Sound are totally different than his early solo and The Verve stuff. If you buy his new album and go to see him, forget "Richard Ashcroft = The Verve", but try to accept "Richard Ashcroft = Richard Ashcroft".
PS: I met him outside the venue before the gig and he was very nice and kind. A true gentleman.

That's great Mimmi you watched Richard Ashcroft last night with his new band. Even better that you met him! Well done! I have not heard anything by Richard Ashcroft & the United Nations of Sound. Not even heard the new single. I think they play Manchester tonight. Hopefully they will tour the UK more once the album is out. I look forward to hearing it. Well done Mimmi! x

Is this a solo album by Ashcroft or is it a new band? I really liked Are You Ready.

Is this a solo album by Ashcroft or is it a new band? I really liked Are You Ready. It's Richard with his new band - Richard Ashcroft and The United Nations Of Sound. He played most songs from his new album in Melkweg 3 weeks ago, starting with "Are You Ready". I quite liked the new songs, especially "She Brings Me The Music". A beautiful tune.

I didn't know No ID were producing, that's awesome! They did the best track off Jay-Z's last album, DOA (Death of Auto-tune). Fantastic production job!

eh. I don't see much of a different between this and his previous solo material; lavish strings, steady semi stomping beat and nice little guitar riff. Its not a total waste but with this new band and No ID as the producer maybe I was expecting more. Still not bad just typical Ashcroft solo material but like most of his solo work I expect there to be a couple tunes that are great maybe not classics (like history) but great songs.
