The page pabsttheater.org/noel has been taken down from the Pabst theater site... That pretty much definitively sounds like it isn't happening now. |

Or they were told by Noel's management to pull it until Noel rolls out a full itinerary. I'm sure it got pulled because of his management, not because it isn't true. I hope you're right. I still hope it is happening and maybe it just spread too far and now Noel (or Noel's PR & management) are pissed that it got out. i swear to god if this ends up not happening im gonna reach through my computer and choke some people. Went back to one of my sources one more time. I simply asked her how a prominent co-worker of hers learned of the show in the first place and she told me that a station reporter who was covering a story at the Pabst got to talking to an employee there who dropped Noel's name as one of the: "shows of the upcoming summer".
So maybe it's a later date then?
I'm leaving her alone for awhile now cuz she's starting to get a bit peturbed...I just used to work with her and we're not terribly close.
More later if I hear anything from her or the "other guy".

Even if this doesn't happen, at least it brought more life to this forum. It's funny though, how people are now starting to use sites that we've never heard of to prove this right. But in all honesty,I do hope that some of this is true. If Noel would be toruing America in June or July that probably mean would hear about it somewhere in late April to mid May. Even if anything is happening I doubt it would be in late March they would be announcing it. But then again Liam did talk about a singles collection and that some of that would have to been done before they could carrry on with the album. The thing that really gives me hope is that Gem played with Noel at TCT. And it would only make sense that the reason they have to delay the album is if Gem had signed up to do a small tour with Noel while they promote the singles collection.

So is Liam or Noel or Liam and Noel gonna promote this in America. (Obviously, they're not doing it together but maybe separately? That'd be weird but would definitely get some attention here in the States. "Gallagher brothers promote band's singles album...separately!") I remember Liam saying, "We have to promote the singles album here this summer", referring to America. I dunno. Makes for good discussion, though.

After seeing this thread, I asked a person who would be intimately involved in booking Noel in North America if Noel was going to be touring America anytime soon and he replied, "not yet."
All I have at the moment. When I hear something more, I'll post it.
