Well, this look fake all over, but I actually give XTRMNTRSCREAM some credibility... guess we should wait and see...
And of course, if this is true, by his band they mean the whole acoustic thing (probably Gem, Terry and some strings maybe)...
Of course, in my wildest dreams it would be full of guitars and shit, but there are not so many guitar songs that Noel can sing from oasis.... to put out a gig I mean

So where would he find the time to play with Noel. I think it might be the same setup, but not the same people in that setup.

So where would he find the time to play with Noel. I think it might be the same setup, but not the same people in that setup. Steve Cradock can do it between Weller & OCS, although I dunno how he does it so well!! So it's a big ask to tour/promote 2 acts but this is possible for Gem. I would suggest he will stick with Liam as Gem will be able to use & develop his own songs more with him. Hang on there is no "Band" as such anyway!! Noel will go solo. |

What songs is he going to play? We haven't heard of any studio work and he's just going to plop himself in Milwaukee of all places and just start randomly touring old songs?

Second, seeing Turners ballroom, Pabst and Riverside are all essentially one, I cannot fathom why he wouldn't be at the riverside, but, sigh.
AND I hope if that byline IS true, that it wasn't authored by anyone with a marketing degree...it's dreadful

Ok, I got a few friends in local tv/radio here in Milwaukee and TWO of them confirmed through others that he is indeed coming with a band and the milwaukee stop is the first of a tour...no mention of size.
I'll try to find out more. These people could give a shit less by the way, and I'm too old for bullshit internet bs, so spare me the flames please.
I'll seek out more info.

Seems plausible. If he's put the effort into creating and rehearsing a setlist for TCT why not tour it a little? The STC tour was put together much like that with only a couple of weeks between the announcement and the gig. If it comes to pass, I'm sure more dates will be announced in the UK as well.

Some poor sap offers info/speculation on something with a fair chance of being accurate and instead of being grateful or speculative. Suddenly all the clueless amateur sleuths bend over backwards in an effort to shout "LIAR" as if its some kind of sacrilege to be either informative or creative.
The poor lad in this case has posted what appears to be a promo for a gig, so people should be like 'OK, wll, that would be nice, lets wait and see' and fair enough some people have asked for slightly more authenticity, which the poster provided ie: the URL. But no, some is actually going to PHONE UP THE VENUE. Haha, jeez man, get a grip.
I love panicking fans on the internet, frightened to death of someone being more 'in the know' than them.

thanks for the post chrispy people have their own motives for what they do namely the riddler. the riddler is turtle who runs the stop crying your heart out blog and it bothers her that her website got scooped in the process. so they have to do the whole charade of posting in latin and rallying the nut jobs. the riddler aka turtle is part of the problem within the oasis community. she is to busy trying too secure free pretty green clothes than to post anything critical or ask hard questions to a man who is responsible for the breakup of one of the more seminal bands of the past 20 years.
