Really loved reading that, think he's doing right by not saying anything. Good luck to him, really changed my opinion about him.

Thank fuck for that. Liam's just saved us all another three months of babbling. NL4E was up all night thinking things over and he reckons there's hope still.

Liam comes across well in the interview. He handled it well.

Like the bit at the end, sounds like he still does like Noel..
Can't wait to hear the new music they make on their own sides, hope Noel lives up to it and Liam produces better stuff than he ever has already.

That was a great interview (skipping the prettygreen parts). You could tell he wanted to speak his mind out, and eventually did. This gives me hope in a reunion! Remember that Noel statement 5 years pauze with Oasis? I think he was right! I believe in 4/5 years Oasis will be back, with a smashing self-produced album Look on the brightside, we have 4 potential albums waiting for us! Noel, Gem, Andy and Liam!

Thank god - Oasis without noel would have been terrible. Keep in mind they just played 116 gigs. They were due to take a looooooooooong break. Give it time....

So, I guess this means no January Announcement then? We still didn't know what the "announcement" was about. It could be Liam announcing his new band alongside Gem and Andy, who knows.

The main thing is that there will continue to be music produced by the Brit Rock phenomena that is the brother's Gallagher.....

I am sick to death with people complaining that they never changed their setlist.....but what do you expect? There isnt just you there is there?

I am sick to death with people complaining that they never changed their setlist.....but what do you expect? There isnt just you there is there? Could have been more variation though. We heard the exact same songs in the exact same order non-stop for 8 months. That is overkill. They didn't have to change the entire set list every night, but a couple of changes every now and then wouldn't go a miss. The stadium set list but they only changed 3 songs. Anyway, great interview and pretty much what I wanted to hear. Oasis have finally been put to bed. No more rumours, no bitchiness, no spoiling the legacy. We genuinely have an exciting new chapter to look forward to, and anyone who thinks they're split for good and will never reunite is daft.

Right, Don't Believe The Truth...the album was named due to people listening to media bullshit.....if you haven't noticed the writing, its very negative and slagging Liam off left right and centre and trying to make it sound as if Liam is slagging off Noel. Therefore, Don't Believe The Truth, because this guy has twisted the interview...a lot.

I am sick to death with people complaining that they never changed their setlist.....but what do you expect? There isnt just you there is there? They should definitely add some different songs here and there to the setlist. I remember a couple of years ago I went and saw Collective Soul. They wound up coming back to my area only a couple months later during the same tour. I asked my brother whether or not we should buy tickets, and he said we should since they were incredible live. I was a little timid because I figured they would play the same songs in the same order, etc. They played 5 different songs when we saw them the second time, and the setlist was definitely changed around. The only thing they repeated was the closing song ('Shine'). There is no excuse for Oasis to not do this. They never throw in any surprises. They played MBM for a little while and then cut it. Why can't we get Columbia? Girl in the Dirty Shirt? It's Getting Better Man? Where did it All Go Wrong? Don't Go Away? Underneath the Sky? Listen Up? Or any other song that is different then the typical. There is absolutely no excuse for it . . .
