I can't not believe this. I really feels like a part of me fucking died. I still think its a bit too quick to say it officially over but shit like this hasn't happened in nearly a decade. I would have thought both have matured and maybe they have but something major must have went down. Still I'm holding out. Really really really fucking gutted. The guy from Bloc Party really pisses me off. he has always been a total vagina to some of rocks most legendary bands. his yappy indie piece of shit band won't be remembered in 10 years. If the split is permanent then..
I really hope Liam doesn't try to continue Oasis, even though he probably will. I mean, it won't be terrible, but it won't be anything that could live up to what Oasis are known for. Because unless Liam finds a true contributor, Oasis will be just another band. Gem and Andy might or might not stay, depends on how devoted they are to the band. They might finally release some great stuff that Noel never let them record, we just gotta wait and see.
Noel will probably go do his solo thing and get that off his chest. Then maybe stick around like Paul McCartney, or leave it all together and start a legit family with his gf and kids.
Looking back, Oasis was always there. None of us had to put up with the sibling rivalries or all the other conflicts. We just enjoyed the music and welcomed the revelation that was Oasis. They were the background to our world and the soundtrack to our lives, and because of that they'll live forever with us and without us.
