Imagine standing there in a crowd waiting for Oasis to come on stage... ... only to then see Madness coming out to fill their slot! That must have been a right kick in the nuts! My mate is there and he is so fucked off!We were gutted about the v fest gettin cancelled now paris and milan! Im trying to talk him into still meeting me in milan as im sure the other bands will be doing tributes...not quite the same but will be interesting to see what they come up with! |

I applaud Noel for lasting as long as this with his twat of a brother! Yes Liam was once the rockin roll star that every band needs but his light went out years ago in my opinion? For me his song writing is a joke as is Andy & Gems, that ruined potentiality great albums? Yes I am sick as all but great tunes will follow from the God Like Genius that is Noel Gallagher!

Personally, I find it hard to side with Liam considering Noel is always the one doing interviews etc. and you only ever hear stories of Liam skipping out on recording sessions etc. I know Noel seems like a grumpy old man because he never looks like he's enjoying himself, but he does always show up and do what's necessary to keep the band going. Meanwhile Liam struts around like he owns everything while doing a fraction of the work...it's no surprise they're at odds. Looking back at the p.r. they did for STC there was that interview wiht both brothers on the couch and they seemed fine. I would guess things went sour when Liam left the album sessions to get married and Noel never forgave him. It's not Liam's nature to seek him out and apologize so things probably just built and built all tour and who knows what happened tonight. I'm sure we'll find out more details over the next few days. Anxious to see Liam's next tweet. |

I haven't been on here in quite a while, and this is the news that greets me when I decide to check in. I actually feel slightly in shock.
Well, whatever happens, I hope the Oasis camp (former Oasis camp?) are smart enough to keep their mouths shut for the foreseeable future.
Who knows what went on, but maybe it's for the best, they did seem spiritually dead as a band these past few months.
