If the governing bodies enacted this every time, both Cristano Ronaldo and Drogba would have been banned for life by now.
This is pathetic.
And Wenger's right:
"I'm the first to say that it doesn't look like a penalty but it's another thing to say that he went down with intent. I wish good luck in proving that having seen the pictures again."
I firmly believe it wasn't a penalty, but I don't think Eduardo was looking for it, either. Showing intent is going to be difficult.
And I thought you couldn't criticize refs and their decisions after matches? Fuck happened to that rule?

This Arsenal loss would have hurt a lot, but with what just happened with Oasis I really can't get much lower.
As for the match, the first half was dull bar Arshavin's wonder strike. The second half Arsenal dominated. Man Utd got a semi-lucky penalty: Clearly tripped by Almunia but Rooney lost control of the ball and was never going to get it even if Almunia didn't trip him
And then Diaby had a moment of madness.
We deserved a win, a draw at bare minimum, but Utd did pretty much fuck all.
Whatever, I'm not worried with this loss cos we had a good performance and Utd already have a lost thanks to Burnley, so it's not all bad.
What's bad is this Oasis situation.

Think we used up six months' worth of luck in yesterday's game - I'd have settled for a draw on the balance of play. I must admit I was shocked to see the penalty given, and I'll be surprised if there's a more ridiculous own goal scored all season. Still, three points are three points, no matter how you get them.
Class stuff from Wenger in injury time, by the way. Hilarious.

United were lucky, most definitely. But fuck me, Darren Fletcher was ENORMOUS.

I agree that Eduardo has been made a bit of a scape-goat in all of this, but I can't believe you are saying Eduardo wasn't looking of a pen, it was a clear dive, he had one thing in his mind when he did that - to con the ref into giving him a pen. By the way, Aiden Mcgeady was sent of for Celtic yesterday - for diving.

Mike Dean was bloody awful. If he had any decency, then he would come out and apologise instead of Keith Hackett.
Worst refereeing performance ever.

Worst refereeing performance ever. While I'll accept that Dean made a couple of unfortunate decisions - yes, Fletcher's tackle on Arshavin should have resulted in a penalty, and Almunia's challenge on Rooney was harshly punished - they were little more than small errors of judgment, and decisions that can be easily justified in the context of a game. That aside, Wenger trots out the same tired complaint any time his team comes up against a combative midfielder or two. He needs to accept that his players will face a little physicality from time to time, and condition them accordingly. I mean, it's not like they're getting the shit kicked out of them, is it?

True and funny story:
So my sports pyschology prof is British. He asked people to guess his favorite soccer team, and someone correctly said Liverpool. I raised my hand and asked: "Surley Arsenal are better, though?" and he proceeded to quiz me on the history of Liverpool and Arsenal. He didn't believe me when I said Arsenal have more FA Cups than Pool, but it's true. He wants me to find out the exact stats for the next class lol. I also told him that when I was reading the syllabus I saw we have a section on psychological impact of injuries and the first thing that came to mind was Eduardo's injury.
I for see bantering with my prof to continue all semester

With the best will in the world, Dean was fucking shocking and deserves the bad reviews he is getting. Arsenal diod enough to hand it to Unite dwithout the fucking ref being their 12th man. I suppose it's Man Utd at Old Trafford though, so what did anyone expect?

Dean was amazing really it was some of the best refereeing I ever saw I would agree though he was wrong not to send off that other arsenal cheater Eboue when he dived other than that all his decisions were prefect.
As far as the game Man u WOW outplayed aresnal in every part of the pitch ran riot the better team by miles 2 amazing goals unlike arshavins lucky strike that was clearly an attempted pass.
Overall we proved we are superior and the best team in the world and odds on favourites to clinch the quadruble.

Almost every single Utd fan has conceded UTD were shit, that Arsenal outplayed them, and that they were lucky. Go invest on a pair of glasses. And if you already have glasses? I want to start off by saying that Adebayor is a vagina. He should have been sent off for what he did to RVP, and if the FA don't review it and give him a 3 match ban then it's beyond a farce. Also, his celebration after he scored highlights what a dick he is. Compare that to Toure who was humble upon meeting his former team. Kolo is the perfect role model, imo, Ade is not.
On to Arsenal - we played well, despite our defense collapsing.
However, something's not working up front.
Denilson is shit. Diaby is shit too, and even more so as a left striker! WTF Arsene?
Rosicky should have started from the beginning, and Eduardo is miles better than Bendnter.
I still think Chelsea will win the league, which I hate even suggesting. And I can't wait for Man City to be taken down by a few pegs, especially Adebayor. Fucking vaginas

I dont give a shit if Ade scored against us or not. It's a similar pattern - form players always score against their former teams. And I don't give a shit if he's on form so far - overall, he's shit - he had one fluke season but it takes him 10 chances to score a goal, and this ass still doesnt understand the off side rule.
His celebration was pretty dick - but i understand that emotions were running high.
But to challenge Cesc like that at first, and then stamp on RVP? He should have been sent off for the latter - and a 3 match ban at least should follow in any case - but all 3 examples shows the lack of respect this idiot has. What has City done for him? And what has Arsene done for him? Exactly. He fucked up his career at Arsenal and has only his dumbass confrontational self and unmotivated, lazy pathetic ass to blame for being shipped out. I don't give a shit if he finishes top scoerer this season, I'm glad to see the back of this lazy vagina. BTW, City, even if he keeps up this form, you can expect it to drop dramastically in seasons to come. He's the laziest player I've ever seen. Fuck him.
And once again, City deserved nothing from this game. NOTHING. How Arsenal conceded 4 is a concern, but there's no way in hell City outplayed Arsenal.
Is Arsenal's title challenge over? After 4 games, fuck that. You're an idiot if you believe it is. Is Man City going to replace Arsenal in the top 4? Even more ridiculous. Man City beat us 3-0 AND outplayed us in that fixture last season, and yet still finished below us. Man City are filed with egos and idiots, and Wenger is 1000x better than Hughes. Man City fans are puretly idiotic if they really think that a win against Arsenal will break them into the top 4. Go re-visit the Villa story of last season, you dreamers.

Is Arsenal's title challenge over? After 4 games, fuck that. You're an idiot if you believe it is. Funny you should say that. For several seasons we have seen 3-5 losses being acceptable enough to win the league. If you have lost 2 already in the first month of the season, you'll need a miracle. Moving on to Adebayor - his actions yesterday afternoon were pretty reprehensible. While his goal celebration might be considered forgivable under the circumstances, that should at least be met with a fine. I recall Gary Neville being stung three or four years ago, under similar circumstances - for celebrating a 90th minute winner against Liverpool in front of the away fans. And though I haven't seen his challenge on Fabregas, his stamp on Van Persie is more than enough to warrant a ban. I'll be interested to see whether the odious c*nt has the bollocks to play at the Emirates.
