not the biggest blur fan but they seemed to have played a great set. Coffee and TV, Parklife, Beetlebum, Tender, There's No Other Way, She's So High. Coxon is superb.

Yeah, opening with She's so high is just perfect, the same as closing with the universal, but I really miss Stereotypes, Sing, Battery In Your Leg and Blue Jeans

Would kill to see them live tho, and i dont even bother goin to gigs.....

Blur got a past... But now, Kasabian is really better... with a lot of anthem...

Can't imagine a Kasabian album sounding like Blur being a good thing I didn't mean that they have to sound like Blur, I just said that, in terms of quality, they haven't released an album as good as Parklife, you can say whatever you want, but even Noel has said that it's one of the greatest albums of the 90's,.

Parklife is a sooo 90's piece of silly pop that doesnt touch anyone outside of london. Only 3 songs of it can be heard these days - End of a century, To the end & this is a low. other songs are just ridiculos, make me wanna put an adiddas jacket and silly jarvis cocker yellow eyeglasses.......

Put it this way, after seeing Kasabian on Saturday it doesn't matter about Kasabian's albums. Every song sounds 100000080983482341235458419841275384512 better live, they are unbelievable. Blur can't tuch them

Here we go again with the comparison of completely different bands. For some reason, Kasabian always gets in.

You know Kasabian hasn't released an album like Parklife yet, don't you? There are those amongst us who consider that a blessing. Quite true. Blur didn't really become more then a singles band until their self titled in 1997. Then they became great, at least in my book.

No problem there, every band has their time and Oasis peaked right out of the gate.

I think they only have an album that can be considerated rubbish, Leisure, but all the albums before 13 except Leisure are great, they're not a singles band, just listen to Modern life is rubbish and Parklife, in The Great Escape they turned into a single band, yes, but you can't say The Universal, Stereotypes, He Thought Of Cars and Charmless Man are bad songs

Like I said, I'll take any single from them, but album-wise it's 1997 beyond.

Anyway, weird to see them playing Essex Dogs (have they before?), but whats everyone's favorite tune by Blur? Still say For Tomorrow is their best.
