went to stadium of light last night, best gig ever been to....honestly..sound amazing....visuals fantastic...just a great performance.....getting hit in face with pint of warm piss and having to battle way to bar and toilet witnessing the locals (and i mean people from sunderland) pushing shoving arguing with frustration at 'how busy it was...security letting people wander freely up and down the seating areas causing chaos and slight crushes was not good..your right...they could not organise nothing this lot.....the transport on the metro system to newcastle was ajoke too...letting people que for hours then only letting trains leave nearby station half full......enough bitching about our nearby makem neighbours.....im sure the lads will visit st james park next time.........gig 10 out of 10

I heard there was some trouble. It was overcrowded and loads of people that had seating tickets just made their way onto the pitch due to lack of security. Apparently people left because of the overcrowding*. S*nderland aren't used to big crowds so what do you expect.Typical mackems. Couldn't organise a piss up in a brewrey let alone a concert. Should have played St. James' instead. At least they have experience at this kind of thing. Hopefully my info is wrong and everything went OK. *wouldn't be the Stadium of Shite if people didn't leave early i suppose What a sad, bitter bastard. Enjoy the Championship. Anyway, last night was amazing. Best gig ever, everything was brilliant. For the first time ever I didn't get hit by any beer or piss, it was packed but there was still enough room to move about. Brilliant night. Ignore the bitter Mags. Edit - on the newsroom it says Meaning of Soul found its way back on the set list. It wasn't played and Cigarettes and Alcohol was played before Roll With It. The rest is spot on.

Live Forever - when did people start singing the song before the song has even started, only noticed this at Heaton, and then Sunderland the clapping along by themselves in time - fukin hell, makes a good atmosphere though

They left the whole crowd sing the first verse of 'Live Forever' with just Zak playing the drums, and then Liam came in and started to sing the first verse again. It was amazing!

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight - firstly Oasis were fuckin' unreal - best i've heard them live for a long time and the crowd was bang up for it. The reason it was "packed" on the floor was because there was no crowd control at alllll - everyone was just pushing onto the standing and it was poorly organised - in fact Kasabian actually left the stage because the tannoy kept coming on throughout their set and ordering the stewards to clear the "east enterance tunnel" ..... they didn't.... annnnnnnnnnd a few people have mentioned live forever - where the crowd sang the first verse... it was good but it was no where near as good as last time they played the arena (metro - newcastle) where the crowd sang the first verse and the chorus. AAAAAAAAND one last thing - yes there was loads of piss getting hoyed about, also so a lot of drug use (coke/weed) but thats a gig innit - and it rained - so that washed people off ;D OVERALL - 9/10

It sounded like it. If it was due to the "announcements" surely they would have waited until the end of the song?

What a fucking gig by the way! Best i've seen oasis in years, the atmosphere pissed all over heaton park due to much better acoustics. D'you know what i mean? Amen.

Heaton Park on sunday, was special. For Oasis & Kasabian everyone was singing and getting involved.
For Oasis only everyone was going mental, jumping about - the first 5 songs were jus non-stop. The setlist was quality and definitely got the crowd going.
