i find it amazing i havent seen any photos like that from Heaton - heaton ones are either up close or from the crowd that's probably because there are seats at sunderland and nobody decided to setup a ladder to take a picture at heaton. looks like a much better concert venue than heaton though, not to say those shows weren't just as immense.

I heard there was some trouble. It was overcrowded and loads of people that had seating tickets just made their way onto the pitch due to lack of security. Apparently people left because of the overcrowding*. S*nderland aren't used to big crowds so what do you expect.Typical mackems. Couldn't organise a piss up in a brewrey let alone a concert. Should have played St. James' instead. At least they have experience at this kind of thing. Hopefully my info is wrong and everything went OK.
*wouldn't be the Stadium of Shite if people didn't leave early i suppose

Lots of people reporting piss throwing again. Sigh. I blame the media partly. Every review has mentioned it. Encourages idiots and gives ideas for kids.

Whyyy would you throw piss? Why would you wanna fuck up a fellow Oasis fan's evening? Fair enough if you're at a festival (just joshing) - but in all seriousness, if you gotta have a piss that badly, have one, but there's no need to lob it. Fucking idiots like this give Oasis fans a bad name.

Just got back and have to say it was a superb performance and a superb night.
Arrived with a general admission ticket at 6.30 and was inside the ground by 6.45, so fair play to the organisation we got in through the turnstile no bother at all.
Kasabian performed very well and got the crowd going.
Never noticed any piss throwing but lets be fair you get that all the time at Oasis, so let's not slag Sunderland off eh?
With regards to the Newcastle fan commenting on St James' Park being used to this sort of stuff - I can only recall Rod Stewart and Bryan Adams in recent years at St James'. Their is a reason why Take That & Oasis decided to play in Sunderland, plus the fact Noel Gallagher slagged Newcastle off recently.
Organisation was superb, everyone enjoyed it, easy enough getting away and everyone was in great party mood.
Big well done to everyone, Oasis and the City of Sunderland for providing a superb concert.
