Hey all, I'm pretty new to the site but I'm a big Oasis fan and will be watching them at Heaton Park also, but on the Thursday. I'm from Wigan, not too far away from Manchester, but have never been to Heaton Park. I see there is no parking aroung the park inself, and the residential area close by could be a bugger if I was to park there. Dont want a ticket Anyone any ideas on where I could park not too far away, and there being no chance I'll get clamped lol. Id get the train and bus, but with it being a sell out, finishing fair late and me going home back to Wigan, I'm not too keen. Any responses would be great |

All concert visitors are being directed to a special Park and Ride facility at Bowlee in Rochdale – where shuttle buses are available to transfer them to the park - and to car parks in the city centre where existing public transport to the park can be used.
There are tow away zones all around heaton park so be aware!
Twisted Wheel will be on stage at 4
Also the gates open at 2, not 12 as stated on some ticket sites

some people have their tickets, some dont. dont panic yet! i think they are sending them out as late as possible to stop touts selling them on

Tickets do look cool. Better than some ticketing website name being plastered all over them.
I'm going on the Sunday to Heaton Park. Not too far for me, bus in to town then get the tram up there from near Shudehill.
